Could definitely see Weaver taking him especially considering how much he loved Pat Williams last draft.
Love Jalen's heart too... just not sure if he's only a rich man's Lou Williams. Now that we have DSJ, not sure if we need another high-energy athletic scoring type without elite two-way production and size.
Why are you factoring DSJ into ANYTHING this team does going forward?

Because I believe in his talent as an athletic scorer (track record: hs, college, rookie year before Luka took over),
Because I believe in Casey's ability to get the best out of his natural talent ( track record: Lowry, Siakam, Van Vleet, Bruce Brown, Christian Wood, Josh Jackson)
Because I believe in team building not stacking the same roles over and over on top of each other... and DSJ/Jalen Green are pretty much the same player until Jalen Green shows me more playmaking/defense in 5 on 5 basketball against grown men.
Now if Jalen Green sets himself apart in 5on5 play against grown men, and he shows himself to be more than just a scorer, and he shows a complete 2-way game... then it's a different conversation.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!
