If I were repping Unger, I would throw his versatility on the back burner and market him as a G, where he might be the best one or two in this class. No way he's more than a backup C, and I don't see the footwork/strength to play LT (not right away). Bag the "jack of all, master of none" and have him commit to G, but keep the seed planted that if he doesn't work out at G, he has the ability to try him at other spots with reasonable expectation of success.

Or maybe I've been talking to agents too much...

Sounds perfect for the Bears who need help at G, RT, and maybe even C.

They like him, so you could be pleasantly surprised. Jerry Angelo went down on the field to talk with him one day in Mobile and I know he met with them in Indy too.
I would put him at LG where he can use his burst on pulls and get inside help on bull rushes, but be able to fire out and find LBs on runs.

--On the Giants taking essentially 2 TEs: Jared Cook is more the replacment for Plaxico as the big downfield target and matchup problem. I know they still like Beckum and my guess is he would top their draft board at that 2nd round spot. Could be wrong, but the other primary needs (OLB, S) they have just aren't filled with the players there in this situation.

This would be heaven for me. Not only have I fallen in Love with Cook after watching him own the Combine, I've loved Beckum forever (being a closet Badger fan for my whole life).

Could I get some more info on Ladarius Webb, Ic? He's obviously a small school guy, and that's worked out for the Giants in the past, but what makes him worth the 3rd rounder?

Honestly I have never seen him play. Nicholls State is way off my radar; my FCS knowledge is pretty much confined to Virginia northward and the Great Lakes area.
Here's what I do know about him:
He's small at 5'10" and 179 soaking wet. He's real fast and quick, showed that in Indy. He could have run track for Auburn, which is where he's from. Got kicked out of Southern Miss, don't know why. He played a lot of WR and apparently played it well, and also was a top-notch return man. The book on him is that he's very confident, likes to go after the ball, not afraid to hit. One scout I trust compared him to Deangelo Hall, plays with that style and with that inconsistency. The buzz on him was real high in Indy so I'm riding that.

If he doesn't have the Hall-sized ego to go along with it, then I can live with having that type of guy in the secondary. The Giants already have a squad full of 'em, so I don't see why they can't add one more.

So based on the Chiefs getting Cassel, I would assume that they will either take Aaron Curry if he's there or an offensive tackle as their cornerstone tackle to cover Cassel's blindside.

Would that mean Stafford could fall all the way to 10?

And what does this mean for the Redskins who signed Derrick Dockery? He's 28 so they got a little bit younger on the line.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Crabtree is having surgery and will miss his pro-day. How much will this hurt his stock?
