When you beat the #1 team in the nation, you move up more than 1 spot.
That just how it works.
mezzy, what does that mean? is that actually in the BCS handbook? defeating someone on the field of play means absolutely nothing. these are made up presumptions. the sec strong. pac10 weak. big12 powerful. big10 not so good. again, look at texas.
USC lost on the 3rd week of the season! months ago. but hope was lost after the 3rd week of play? so why were we penalized? all of these teams have inferior defenses compared to USCs, that is prerequisite of a powerhouse team. we have the longest winning streak of the top 5, except for alabama. nevertheless, we get penalized because these type of mini rules and regulations get made up. like "you move up more than 1 spot if you defeat so and so" you move down 2 spots. your conference is great or your conference is not good.
TEXAS BEAT OKLAHOMA!
so what does that all mean. USC IS GETTING CHEATED OUT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. we have the best defense in the country, and we would defeat any team placed in front of us. period.
