Kerr's been exceptional for his man management this season. He needed to weed out other coaches and get new blood for offense but especially defense (Kenny fits more as a HC). Klay and CP3 needed to be taken out to the shed like old yeller because Steve was never going to do his actual job and manage them correctly.
Those two, in particular Klay leaving, is such a massive positive in this team.
Kenny is doing rather well in Cleveland ...
I do think the personnel last year was probably the main issue. Too many strong vet personalities and legacies that weren't ready to take a step back and Kerr was unable to manage them.
