Also Melton, GP2, Wiggins, Dray is a menace defensively.

Also JK was great yesterday

Kerr's been exceptional for his man management this season. He needed to weed out other coaches and get new blood for offense but especially defense (Kenny fits more as a HC). Klay and CP3 needed to be taken out to the shed like old yeller because Steve was never going to do his actual job and manage them correctly.

Those two, in particular Klay leaving, is such a massive positive in this team.

Kenny is doing rather well in Cleveland ...

I do think the personnel last year was probably the main issue. Too many strong vet personalities and legacies that weren't ready to take a step back and Kerr was unable to manage them.

I think people just need to be OK with the fact that Steve enabling his assistants to have a big impact is one of his positives. Mike Brown, Ron Adams, Deki, Alvin Gentry, etc. and now Stack/Stotts.

I fully agree with that

He is, but sometimes some coaches don't work as well in the secondary role as they do in the first. When Brown left, nobody was able to replicate what he was doing on top of politics playing key roles (Klay, then add CP). Personnel was definitely an issue, but the team was coached and managed in a miserable manner. Defensively they were all over the place, worst team in the league at calling out fouls for example just shows they were on autopilot.
