Considering that Greg Oden played 61 games in his first two seasons and James Wiseman will end up playing only 39 games in the same span, you're smearing Oden's reputation by comparing him to Wiseman.

should have been traded last year when it was **** obv to anyone with a brain how much of a bad fit he was in this offense (let alone even before the draft).

I guess it’s better, but he’s gonna be done with his rookie contract by the time it heals. Ron Artest was back in 3 weeks after they removed his.
Tears are not uniform. The depth, the angle, the specific location, if it’s clean/jagged.. all these things matter. And that’s only relative to the meniscus and has nothing to do with surrounding areas that are also hurt
Well, whatever it is the docs blew it. This really stings after the Durant achilles ****.

What did they do wrong, in both scenarios?

Durant - allowed him to come back and play on a compromised achilles.
Wise - what other player has had this many setbacks on a meniscus injury?

It was a bad decision to repair and not cut off the teared meniscus.
Rose lost one year with the same decision and Wiseman is the same case.
Wiseman is young and a meniscus tear is not a big injury.
When he will have a serious medical treatment he will be ok
Aside from the Rose part, all of this is either untrue or wild speculation
