Apologies for my intrusion, but to propose a variant Siakam/Wiggins deal:
GS: Siakam, Boucher, Jalen Harris, #47
Siakam can slot in at 3 as he and Anunoby were interchangeable 3/4 this year. He's not a Championship #1 option, but he's a hell of a Pippen, and operating in the space provided by the Splash Bros. would see people forget about how he looked when trying to be "The Guy" since Kawhi left. Boucher seems to be a favourite around here, and would provide a lot in your system. Harris showed he's worthy of bench minutes down the stretch of the season. I'm actuslly curious how he develops, but since Suggs and keeping GTJ are likely, the Raps can only develop so many young'uns. #47 lets you find some end-of- bench depth. The sentiment seems to be to get win-now guys, with little time for development. You still need a big body for when Boucher is too thin to guard Jokic/Embiid, but that should be do-able with another deal later. I think the opportunity cost of the picks is made up by making the most of Steph and Klay's prime. Championships over potential.
TOR: Wiggins, Wiseman, #7, #14
This allows the Raptors to reset their timeline around Anunoby and #4, with FVV holding down Lowry's leadership role. The Raptors pride themselves on player development and scouting, so it sets them up to capitalize on it. The idea would be to build a base for when Wiggins becomes a FA to try to attract a star. If the Raptors land Suggs as seems to be the consensus, they've got some interesting young players, and decent depth except at the 4, which they likely try to fill with #7. OG likely slides to the 4, and Wiggins starts at the 3. The team won't be great out the gate, but they won't be terrible. It allows a soft-rebuild without going through the losing dregs that can damage a young player's development.
*I'm a big fan of Pascal, and having done security for him, have gotta say he's a pretty great, and genuine dude. That said, I accept he isnt a #1 option, and the Raptors don't have a path to acquire one to fit his prime window. I think Toronto's best move is to do a reset, and if Siakam had to move, I would love to see him in your system, as I really think you'd have a 3 headed fire breathing dragon on your hands.
Golden State has been my 2nd team since I was a kid - I actually wanted the Raptors to keep Antawn Jamison, so I also became a Warriors fan, and those era jerseys definitely helped. I suppose young me had a thing for the underdogs, and it's been great to see both franchises rise!
