This might be his best option period unless Brooklyn overpays through a Dubs sign and trade. I can't see Utah or Detroit offering him anything long-term.

But doesn’t “betting on himself” lead to a retread of him this year, trying to Kobe-ball his way to a bigger contract? Not necessarily what this team needs again (or what Kerr wants).

Move Kuminga for Kobe and Vuc and that solves sooooooooo many issues. Legit stretch 5 with bulk, a desperately needed play maker and third scorer in Kobe.

Right??? What a joke! What has that guy ever done for this organization?
Relax, the offseason has barely begun and posters here like to take posturing as fact.

Maybe we can pick up horford.
Curry/
Podz/buddy
Jimmy/moody
Jk/dray/gui
Horford/post/tjd
Think back up pg may be the hardest to fill. Seems like there could be options to bring in a 20 mpg center.

If that is the case, then say goodbye to a center upgrade.
Dunleavy needs to trade him to Hornets for Williams and Okogie. Those 2 are players Kerr will play.... a lot.

I think they resign him and see if his external or internal value goes up.
Moses is a more likely trade choice. Unfortunately.

Pacers have 6 players that have a better offensive package (more efficient and making offense flow in deep playoffs games) than JK: Haliburton, Nesmith, Toppin, Siakam, Turner and Nembhard... and OKC has 5: SGA, JWill, Hartenstein, Holmgren and Caruso...The league has crazy amount of talent .....overrating our own player and overpaying him is not going to help us...its time to open the eyes and think about the bigger picture
