JJ's shot is rough but honestly I don't think Scottie Barnes' shooting form is any better. In fact I don't think either are any better shooters or scoring threats than Draymond and so I don't want to draft either.
Barnes' self created rim attacks are off the charts, which makes him more intriguing than JJ and more of a threat than Draymond. Shooting off the dribble seems like a lost cause though
I know they are very different players but Barnes looks eerily similar to Obi Toppin to me. Both are ~ 6'8-6'9, 220-225 with a 7'2 wingspan. Those same long legs relative to torso, very high waist. Barnes has bigger, more muscular legs which serve to make him a stronger defender more able to hold his position while Toppin is bouncier and more explosive.
Generally, I'm not that up on the extra leggy, long-striding basketball players. I prefer the guys that cover ground with short steps and nimble feet. The defensive IQ in the NBA is such that long-striders tend to commit a lot of charges and so Barnes abilities attacking the bucket might be minimized compared to college.
