Another dumb trade Mcgrady threadafter a loss. So when we win on Tuesday because Mcgrady gets ANOTHER near triple-double I guess he can stay.
Tracy is the ONLY player in the west playing w/out another threat on his team. For that matter, every other top team has at least 3 all-star caliber players except the Rockets in this years playoffs.
All-star type players
1. Hou - Tracy ONLY
2. Utah- Derron Williams; Carlos Boozer; Andre Kirilinko; M.Okur
3. Lakers- Kobe; Odom; P. Gasol
4. Spurs- Duncan; T. Parker; M. Ginobilli
5. Suns- Amare; Shaq; S. Nash
6. Dallas- Dirk; J. Kidd; Josh Howard
7. Denver- Carmelo; Iverson; Camby
8. Hornets- Chris Paul; David West; T. Chandler; Peja

EAST
1. Boston- Garnett; Ray Allen; Paul Pierce
2. Detroit-C.Billups; R.Hamilton; R. Wallace; T. Prince
IF the Rockets lose this series, I won't be that disappointed.
The Rockets should be commended for what they did when Yao
Ming -- the anchor of their entire team -- went out. 10 straight wins (22 in total), 55 wins overall and homecourt advantage for a series in the
toughest NBA Conference ever. Just because they played out of their
minds doesn't mean the bar should be raised on what they should
accomplish in the postseason. Let's face it -- when Yao went down, title
hopes were on hold until 2009.
Daryl Morey just needs to draft well and turn our expirings into a 3rd scoring option. Brooks, Scola & Landry will all be better next year w/ this experience. Thank you T-Mac for bringing us this far. W/out you, we'd be in the lottery and our young guys would not know how intense the playoffs are and what they need to work on in the off-season to rise to that level.
Really????
1st - of all if Shaq, Peja, Chandler, Odom, AK47 & Okur are considered all star caliber how is Battier not? we have seen Peja, Chandler, and West WITHOUT Paul and they are not allstar caliber; and in any case Listing the Pistons on just confirms my title (Pullin a Philly) Philly has NO all stars (maybe AI)
2nd - I wrote this post before we lost game 4 and have been an advocate of trading Mcgrady since the past two seasons, I really don't see how a dude who has energy problems at age 28 can make a strong push in the playoffs and he isnt getting any younger
3rd - I truly believe trading him would bring more confidence to our young team, to me 3 players in this league can at times create an awe factor on their team in which the rest of the players dont produce to their max because of having a guy on their team who has a rep. for being an offensive juggernauts; Kobe, AI, and McGrady.. look what happen in philly with AI, or Arsenal with Henry.
Lastly I just want to hear what everone thought of the upside of McGrady and for the most part I think most people think he is the key to our success...I just dont see how we can blame are role players.
