C's could send Picks, Moore+Williams (Non-Guaranteed contracts-could be waived)...Plus maybe Marquis Daniels....should be enough to get it done.

Sure they ask for him but Boston would have said no.

thanks x and tex for the feedback . in regard to Bradley , with another surgery scheduled for tues. , the Celts don't expect him back until dec. He's only making 1.6 but would be surprised if he'd be part of the package . well we'll let the powers that be , take care of it . Hope it works out for both teams . J. Johnson and picks would probably be involved . good luck in the coming season . I don't know how you all like Kevin Mchale as a coach , but i remember him as a heck of a player . peace

Celtics could probably do a sign and trade of

Dooling and Daniels (plus the cash to cover the contracts since they would have to match with Lee and Camby) plus a pick or JaJuan Johnson (last years 1st rounder)

for

Camby and Lee

The pick would, also JJJ gives you guys another PF, for whatever reason Morey is trying to collect power forwards. Gives depth to your team I would think. Bradley isn't going anywhere and Melo or Sullinger can't be traded until mid season since they just signed their rookie deals per the CBA.

well based on what the knicks gave up to get Camby I think it is safe to say if Lee chooses the Celtics not much will be coming back. Something like Dooling on a cheap deal for one year, one of the unguaranteed deals (moore or williams) 1 or 2 seconds? That would also create a nice 1.3M or so TPE.
With Lee coming back not an option, and his leaving for nothing a real possibility there isn't a ton of leverage as the Camby deal shows.

Knicks actually paid a high value for Camby and if that is any indication, then Rockets may get a good return in sign n trade for Lee. Lee has as many as 8 teams interested in him and if Celtics are not able to provide some good return to Rockets, and another team can, then Lee will be going to the other team since he will get higher salaries in sign n trade scenario. Celtics does not have the cap space to sign him outright.

Dooling would have to be a sign and trade which means a 3 year deal which is not likely to happen.

I think the only deal that really works is E'Twuan Moore, Sean Williams, Jajuan Johnson and the BobCats 2nd round pick next year for Lee. Moore and Williams have non-guaranteed deals. Houston would get a $1.4 trade exception and Lee would get a 3 year deal averaging $4.4 per year.

Don't know if Boston, Houston or Lee would be interested in a deal like this one.

Dooling's first year is the only one that had to be guaranteed (or so I was told by a friend of mine). I was thinking either Dooling (with about a 3-3.5 million dollar deal), Moore(non-guaranteed), S. Williams, JaJuan Johnson, and our second, or Dooling, E. Moore, S. Williams, and either our first or the Bobcats' second.

Good to know about the first year only being guaranteed. That's pretty much the combination of players. Who knows if it will actually get done.

That's correct.

Wouldn't you guys want to re-sign Dooling for the cheap yourselves though? We could do the same deal with Wilcox instead of Dooling for example.

I believe if Lee chooses to go to the Celtics, it will be S.Williams, Moore, Wilcox/Dooling and a couple of picks.

Dooling is the only player who the celtics can use in a S&T. Wilcox was not on the roster to end the season so he can't be used. (also I don't think they have bird rights on him anyway)
Also between Rondo and Terry there aren't going to be many minutes at PG available, E'Twan moore or someone else at the minimum is most likely for the 3rd PG.

Even Batman needs a Robin at times.

When Chuckwagon comes home to Houston, he may need a little help to take on the rest of the league. Lee could be his sidekick.
