The guy now has to try and fill the shoes of one of the greatest to ever play the game and even if he puts up great numbers season after season, maybe even wins an MVP or two, he'll probably still never live up to what Favre was (at least in some people's eyes), when he plays very well like he did Monday, he deserves all of the praise in the world. Seems some people are having a problem admitting it.

not what I said. I stated that myself, and my buddy (a big Rodgers supporter) didn't get the same feeling BEING at the game, as people commenting on it watching it on tv.

Like I said, I was there, and based off of what we saw, he wasn't bad, but he wasn't in our eyes anything close to what the TV people saw and commented on.

It is posible to get a different feel while at a game, not having the multiple angles, etc. it is what it is.

And after he banged his hand, he didn't play, titan. It happened right in front of us. And Rodgers asked out. he said to McCarthy that he was done. I was sitting row 2 behind our bench.

I could be wrong but I thought he banged his hand on either the first or second series. In any event, he wasn't coming back in after that TD drive especially since it was already into the second quarter.

His balls were high, but outside of that, he looked above average. I really don't understand why being at the game would cause you and your friend to have a completely different point of view than the vast majority of fans and sportswriters.

You are really going to criticize him for being in the huddle too long? I honestly dont remember them having issues getting plays off.

He missed the Jones throw but it also seemed like Jones slowed down a little on that play. Though that should have been a completed pass.

I have not given him hardly any crap other than to state that being there, I didn't think, nor my friend who is a big Rodgers supporter, we didn't get the same impression others did who were not there.

I have talked with dozens of my customers who were at the game, and they said the same thing.

While I am not going to drink the Koolaide, I think Rodgers will be servicable, but won't be our starting qb in 3 years.

I, as stated before don't have a good feeling about this year. I have stated that I think we will be 6-10, and have an injury plagged season.

I will admit if I am wrong. Like many, I picked 7-9 last year, and I was way wrong.

I see a lot of injuries ruining what could be a very good year. We will see. I won't miss a game, and I will be cheering them on reguardless.

I will also be there Monday night to open the season.

Someone give Pat Williams another greasy Triple cheeseburger to choke down. I'm not a cruel person and don't like to wish harm on others, but since it is the Vikings we are talking about I hope Scott Wells gives Fatty Patty Williams a sick Cut block on the first series and takes him out just like A.J. Hawk took out Adrian "overrated" Peterson last year at Lambeau.

Also I hope Chad Clifton makes Chris Hovan...oops I mean Jared Allen his B!tch Opening night. He is just asking for a cut block from either Chad or Spitz.

This just reaffirms that all the people associated with the Vikings are douches. The Packers could talk about how overrated their team is like Jared Allen puts them over the top but they stay classy instead, and the packers have a better player in Aaron Kampman anyway. They got 3 good D-lineman and a young flashy but injury prone RB and a QB that can't successfully throw a ball into the ocean when standing 20 feet away.
To me this equals 7 wins max and the pack walk off with the division again.
God I love it when Vikings talk trash and then they have to eat their words.
I hope so bad that Rodgers throws like 3 Td's opening night and we blow them out.

Karma is a B....
