Re: Raiders lead-up
Montgomery's ankle must be a letdown for the team. Would have put him on IR a while ago if they didn't think he'd be able to make a decent contribution. Only three games left, but still playoffs left, so maybe it would be worth it to keep him on the roster in the hopes he'll be back for at least a game in the regular season and the playoffs. Prob though is how to make room for Quarless.

That first round bye would be huge for this banged up Packer team.

Re: Raiders lead-up
The Green Bay Packers conducted their Saturday morning practice at Stanford University and afterward upgraded three players from questionable to probable.
Wide receiver Davante Adams (foot), guard T.J. Lang (shoulder/ankle) and defensive end Mike Daniels (hamstring) are now all but assured of playing Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. The only questionable player who was not upgraded was center Corey Linsley (ankle), who did not play last week against Dallas.
Cornerback Sam Shields (concussion) and wide receiver Ty Montgomery (ankle) did not have their status changed and are both out.
The Packers did not announce that tight end Andrew Quarless had been activated, which means it's pretty unlikely they will move him from injured reserve / designated to return to the 53-man roster. They would have to either put someone on injured reserve or cut someone who had made the trip to the West Coast.
Quarless has been practicing for the past three weeks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I practically forgot that Quarless is still even on this team.

Re: Raiders lead-up
So GBPG just wrote an article on how Rodgers has some absurd streak without throwing a pick six. I'm going to guess Woodson takes one back today.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Mostly excited to see Woodson play again. I honestly thought that after we let him go Oakland gave him a pity deal so he could play one more year for his old team that wasn't going anywhere, and then retire. No way anyone expected this.

You can only really RICE here. It's how the injured person rehabs it when he's not with the doctors and how the ankle responds to treatment.
This. There's only so much rehab that can be done to rehab a strain.

I'm more suprised that ive heard from so many fans that they're suprised he's been out this long.
We should all know by now a high ankle sprain is much worse then a broken bone when it comes to getting back on the football field

It's truly pathetic that the Rodgers hate still exists in 2015. Some of these people on Twitter are clueless.

Not sure if you guys are paying attention but he is playing at a very high level. Every game I see him make at least one big play when it matters most.
You could have almost guaranteed one of these things was going to happen. Perfect to watch him make a couple of big plays and we still win.

According to the announcers, woodson had a FF. There was a lot of eye rolls in that 5 minutes of commentary.
