1) Bradford is just "OK" or worse and the Vikings cut him after spending a 1st on him.

2) Bradford leads them to a deep playoff run and they keep him for $17 million next year. Bridgewater then spends the year rehabbing/backup.

While I don't support the trade, you can't bank on Teddy being ready for next year

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I don't think they are either, and I've said that I don't think Bridgewater will ever be the same. Viking fans are relieved that the team has said he can be "back to 100%", but I think the docs mean "100% functionality for a normal human being". Not for an elite athlete.

I can't believe the Vikings just did that.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird the Cowboys announced they were going to sign Sanchez before he was even cut? This isn't against the tampering rule?

Just when you thought the Vikings had a competent GM and were making smart roster decisions, they come right back and give up a 1st and 4th for Sam Bradford. Can't believe there's actually fans trying to rationalize the price. Absolutely delusional.

Yes as disappoint as I am in allowing Sitton to walk at least we aren't giving away high picks for bum players.
