With Bradford making $17 million next year, nobody will trade for him after this year unless they agree to a long term deal prior to the trade. So that leaves only 2 scenarios right?

1) Bradford is just "OK" or worse and the Vikings cut him after spending a 1st on him.

2) Bradford leads them to a deep playoff run and they keep him for $17 million next year. Bridgewater then spends the year rehabbing/backup.

While I don't support the trade, you can't bank on Teddy being ready for next year

I don't think they are either, and I've said that I don't think Bridgewater will ever be the same. Viking fans are relieved that the team has said he can be "back to 100%", but I think the docs mean "100% functionality for a normal human being". Not for an elite athlete.
