I agree. Regardless of when he plays, he simply commands a presence on the field. Every time he's gotten the ball something happens. He looks comfortable. Everyone around him looks better when he plays. I'm sold. Seriously.

The Brooks signing, again, can not be overlooked. We are 3 solid deep at OLB. Who is the 4th. I can only see them keeping 4, honestly. I think they try to stash Gilbert PS and cut Fackrell. Keep Elliott. I also think they consider cutting one of the interior LB's so Mathews can be the swing LB. Frankly, at this point, I would argue moving Clay back to the OLB position was a mistake. He's simply not the same player there.

Yeah, I'm not even sure what role guys like Ryan & Martinez have in this defense now...I guess you keep one of the two, but they seem like the same mediocre player to me.

Vogel is a gem, I keep waiting for the ball to come down, but it never does!

Fackrell stinks. It's disgusting we wasted a 3rd round pick on him. He's an OLB that is supposed to rush the passer but he looks like Jeff Janis and is flat out weak. We better cut him and keep Gilbert. Gilbert Jayrone Biegel Perry Clay Brooks should be the OLBs.

He's gotten swallowed up whole almost every snap. I think they reported that he was 0-24(!!) in the one on one pass rush drill in practice before beating some scrub...that. is. not. good.

Looks like a total bust.

100% agree and I think total bust could be an overstatement if there was even a better way to describe how truly atrocious he is. Shows no sign of anything, no smarts, no toughness, no emotion, no nothing. They said the whole OLB group went up against Jason Spriggs in 1v1 the other day and Gilbert was the only one to beat him. Other teams back up OLBs have had no problem beating Spriggs all preseason except our own guys lol. That's real pathetic. Gilbert is a beast though. I do like him and really hope they're smart enough to keep him and release Fackrell.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

I mean, say what you will about Hundley, but do you think anyone would give us a draft pick for Hill? He's been seriously impressive.

Serious question... I only watched the 2nd quarter and didn't key on him on every play but when I watched Spriggs, he looked solid... at least there weren't any major breakdowns on pass plays. Was he that bad?

Kentrell Brice appears to have injured his left shoulder in punt coverage. Trainers looking at him on the bench. #Packers

Doesn't really matter how he did this game. He's playing against construction workers for the most part.

To my admittedly untrained eye, I thought Spriggs looked better than he has in the previous weeks. No glaring miscues. I believe that Hundley sack was on Amichia.

Got beat at least 3 times in Denver inside and had an awful holding call.

Lots of things to consider. I'm ready to make my final 53.

I agree he was a turnstile in Denver, but I think he was asking about this game. You are right though that he's going against 3rd stringers today. That said, I might be more inclined to keep Spriggs than Fackrell. Spriggs problems seem mental, Fackrell just doesn't seem to physically able to compete. I don't see that improving. The dude is what? 26?

Bye Felicia.

Agreed Spriggs has the tools and Campen is my second favorite asst. coach. On the other hand Fackrell is still small and Moss hasn't developed a player his entire career in GB and some how has a job.

I remember hating how old Fackrell was. Asking a 24 yo+ dude to put on a ton of weight doesn't seem like a good proposition. Looks like that is bearing out here. 3rd rd...smh. TT has had some real whiffs on D the past few years.

If this team is serious about putting the best players on the 53, Fackrell has no business being on it.

Yeah, Fackrell has been hot trash. I still think he manages to sneak his way onto the 53 though. Even with the Brooks signing, OLB depth is probably still our biggest weakness right now.

Nah. I'm good on that. Down for a gentleman's bet however. So...

I win if:

1) Clark makes the 53
2) Clark gets cut and doesn't make it back to the Packers' practice squad due to being on another team's 53

You win if:

1) Clark gets cut, no other team picks him up, and he ends up on the Packers' practice squad, or completely out of the league.

Someone lost a bet. Looks like the pack gambled and paid off.
