I'm still fully behind firing Chryst - he was a total mess at the end. But it really sucks for us that it was 2-3 years too soon for how quickly the NIL landscape changed. We definitely could have, and maybe even would have, done things differently.

One of the reasons I was a strong defender for Fickell was his recruiting. Patience was key to allow him to get his guys, etc.

His class this year is worse than nearly all of Chryst's classes. He has 2 4 star guys, 1 of whom seems about to flip to Ohio St. If he cant recruit I'm not sure what else he brings to the table

Either recruits see writing on the wall, which to some degree sucks because Fickell has had the worst luck, even if one believes he sucks…or I guess he’s gearing up to build next year’s team with even more transfers as his last stand if he makes it there.
