With Paul and West gone they are truly now a rebuilding team and depending on the results of their season and Minnesota's/LA Clippers will have two draft choices in the lottery already.
Meaning depending on who comes out they will have easy pickens of Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger, Perry Jones, Terrance Jones, Jeremy Lamb, etc.
The 2012 class is quickly becoming a deep class and they could make it a trifecta if they can secure even more picks for the talent they are currently carrying, like Eric Gordon.
How can they say no? Because Eric Gordon is easily better, and still young enough to compare, with any 2 first round picks we can offer them.
It's really quite silly. Unless we're willing to offer up Paul George, Darren Collison, Roy Hibbert, AND picks, etc, there's just not a whole lot they should really be interested in. We'll likely have to attack Gordon in free agency, and HOPE he can't come to an agreement with the Hornets and sign a QO instead.
