While SGA and Shammy have had some very promising moments this season the starting lineup was a little to easy to pick a guy and say lets not let him get going. Kerr and their coaching staff deserve credit. They really gang defend. Its not like beat one guy. They really do help each other out. The Warriors have great players but their offensive and defensive sets are also impressive.
Watch what they do with Gallo, which is basically to crowd him. Get your feet up close to his feet. He's not quick enough to go around you, and by crowding him, you cut down his height advantage in shooting over you.
I agree and disagree. They do crowd him. You are right about that but he has gone around guys all season that get up on him. The difference here is the Warriors often pick him up with 1-2 more guys on his way inside. He also has been on the wrong end of calls too many times. Durant got away with contact on Gallo when Gallo drove to the hoop. Draymond clearly hit Gallos hand on Gallo's dunk.
I'm not saying Gallo is playing well. He has had a tough series. That may be due to undisclosed injury, the Warriors defense or Gallo is just not playing well. Another factor that is not helping is the refs are swallowing their whistles not only on Gallo but on other contact fouls on the Clippers. Curry literally climbed up Bevs back. No call.
