Corvus Crow i dont know why the bucks would accept that trade but if they did what we got would be nothing short of spectacular.

When healthy

Fisher/Farmar
Kobe/Sasha
Redd/Ariza/Luke
Villanueva/Turiaf/Vlad
Bynum/Mbenga/Turiaf

Pretty much unstoppable IMO

1. How much has his athleticism declined? Is he aging poorly?

2. Does he at least put forth effort on defense?

3. Why has his offensive game declined so much? Is he feeling the effects of so many shoulder injuries and not scoring in the paint enough?

In case you guys didn't know, Redd and Kobe had a great relationship on Team USA. I bet he'd fit onto your team seemlessly, though you'd probably have to take on some Bucks trash (dan gadzuric, bobby simmons, or charlie bell) for us to do it.

I can also see the Bucks being extremely interested in Lakers players like Jordan Farmar or Trevor Ariza if they could be included. The Bucks would have almost no use for Charlie Villaneuva, so maybe he's sent out as well to entice you guys to include one of them.

LO's athleticism is as top class as it has ever been. Its just his passiveness that keeps him off from scoring heavily.

I like Michael Redd and he could be a fantastic addition for us. He's good buddies with KObe and one of the best scorers in the league even now. We could play him at SG and establish Kobe in the low post all day long.

A line up of Farmar or Fisher/Redd/Kobe/Turiaf and Bynum is instant contenders.

None; not at all

He does put in effort, he is just simply not a great defender... Not strong enough to be a great man to man defender and not athletic enough to be a great shot blocker... He is pretty good on his rotations though

LO's man to man defense is pretty excellent. He just doesn't have the brains to figure out stuff like rotations and help defense although he talks about communicating on defense while playing at Jamaica, NY.

Thanks for the input guys. I've never thoguth Odom was a great fit in LA, and if the Bucks think he can get close to the Odom of Miami days then this could be a great deal for us. We need a team leader who can make his teammates better, and that Odom certainly could do it.

Is he unhappy in LA? Maybe that has to do with his passiveness, especially amidst how many summers of constant trade rumors. Do you think he just needs a change of scenery?

Also, would including Farmar or Ariza be a deal breaker for any of you guys? The Bucks would really need help in the backcourt if we did this deal, and both of those guys play the sort of defense that is pitifully absent in Milwaukee.

Farmar isn't going anywhere. Adding Ariza would open up new dimensions for the trade. Why would you need more PG help when you have Mo WIll and Bell?

Lol Fisher and Redd would have a field day shooting 3s with all the attention already given to Kobe and Bynum. And Charlie can become Lamar Odom but with 1/7 of the contract.

What's so unbelievably stupid is that to be entirely honest I think Kwame Brown is currently outplaying Lamar or atleast he was in Dallas.

Look at Brown's FG% and the number of fouls he causes. If he starts knocking down free throws at a 60% clip and continues to hit between 50-55% of his shots, HE'S a MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH better offensive option than Lamar Odom.

I'm happy the response has been so good with the Redd to LA scenario, as I'm starting to like the idea a lot both for my Bucks but also for Redd. I'm a big Redd fan, and he'd be HUGE playing alongside Kobe just like he was for Team USA. I also think it'd be incredible for Villanueva's development to have a coach like Phil Jackson and a teammate who doesn't tolerate slacking off like Kobe Bryant.

Would you guys be for this deal as much if it also includes the Bucks dumping Bobby Simmons as well?

Bucks trade: Redd, CV, Simmons, gadz
Lakers trade: Odom, Kwame, Ariza, Sasha Vujacic

Bobby's real overpaid, but he is a great shooter who plays good defense. He's had some big foot problems that have taken away a lot of the athleticism he had in LAC though. However, playing for Phil might really rejuvanate his career like it did for Ron Harper. This deal would require you guys taking on a TON of salary, but I bet it would really make Kobe happy enough to call off the trade demands. Redd would be absolutely ridiculous for you guys, and shooters like CV and Simmosn would really strive as well.

ha, I agree it's a lot of trash to take on, even if we are forced to take a player like Bynum off your hands in addition . You guys certainly could use Simmons and Gadzuric as players though, but I don't think either would ever be worth their contracts in LA.

I hihgly doubt you guys woudl take on both, but i figured it was worth broaching as the bucks would probably prefer to trade simmons since it's clear he's unhappy here.

It seems like Odom has fallen off the map for you gusy though, and I doubt there are many players you could get who'd be as good as Redd. The bigger question is if your owner is willing to shell out nearly that much money, as even Redd is overpaid somewaht despite his status as an elite scorer.

Unless you guys took on Radman...

Odom, Radman, Kwame, pick for Redd, Gadz, CV

Fisher/Farmar
Kobe/Sasha/Ariza
Redd/Luke/Ariza
Turiaf/CV
Bynum/Gadz

Even still our rebounding would take a serious blow....

I want no part of CV as he makes LO look like the lock down defender.

Maybe Kobe should take a game off. I'm sure that without Kobe LO will go back to the great player B-Scott sees.
