while that was arguably one of the most impressive roadies in a long, long time for any nba team, lets not forget to look past orlando, and i am not predicting they will get to the finals, but it just may be that two embattled teams in boston/cleveland, may make the way for the magic, who which swept us...i do not think they are better than us, but something to consider...

what was more impressive was that unlike the boston game, the team looked in great rhythm all night

lakers are almost unbeatable when we're playing this way

also, holding cleveland to 30 2nd half points is nothing to sneeze at

Missed the game outside of the 3rd quarter, but it sounds like it was a great win. We're playing with emotion and that's very good to see.

Great road trip.

So let there be no doubt, at least as we stand here on the first full weekend of February looking ahead to the final 10 weeks of the regular season, who the best team in the NBA is right now.

This pretty much sums it up as to where we are at this point in time.

Monster game by LO and if anyone deserved to take the center stage after a grueling road trip, its the 2nd most passionate Laker on the roster after Kobe Bryant. I wish he hangs onto this kind of mojo for the rest of the season.

The tempo and speed of the game is always on our side when these starters play together. This is no knock on Bynum because he's been a wonderful player so far this season but the best spot for LO is as the starting PF on this team.

A standing e-ovation is in place. Epic performance, indeed.

This road trip shows that they do indeed have the right mentality to win it all this year. They look very sharp and focused. Now, let's keep this up. Every game. Until game four of the Finals.

We're 4-0 against Cleveland and Boston. Sweeps. Good going. Magic probably won't make it all the way without Nelson at the point, and even if they did, they won't have Nelson. Fisher can hang with Lue. I hear that Shannon Brown might be able to stay in front of Rondo and Mo Williams... Seems to me that if this team stays healthy, only two teams can rob us of another Finals appearance; Spurs and Nuggets.

Against the East, I like our chances more and more every day.

For those of you who missed the game (suckers! haha!) it'd going to be replayed at midnight on ESPN.

good game guys...real nice win for you

lamar was great today. im happy that he picked this game as his grand re-emergence onto the scene - glad our defense and defensive rebounding could help him out with that :D (for what its worth, ive always thought that he would be the perfect power forward in our system).

i got to give your team credit for shutting lebron down in both games this season. he has flat out sucked in the two games and your defense has everything to do with that. he needs to get his **** together or we wont go far in the playoffs - but hey must be nice for you guys to know that kobe can be sick as a dog and you can still dominate on the road in a tough environment

and while i would have loved to keep the streak going, im happy that lakers ended it and not some joke of a team like the wizards or something

definitely good luck the rest of the way - seems like you really have something special going on with this team...should be fun to watch

Much appreciated, and I have to say this. Cavs fans are some of the best fans in the league. Honestly you guys had more reason to complain about the refs then the Celtics did and very few of you guys even mentioned it. Some of the guys in Boston started shouting conspiracy theories right after they made them redo the opening tip off. Best of luck to you guys this season, I really think you guys are going to the finals.

Hey man, I appreciate that coming from a C's fan. Good luck to you guys and hopefully we'll meet again in June. I have a feeling you'll pick someone up before the 19th.

Big time Deep3 we had to go tag team wrestling on him! He was cryin all game last time from start to finish.
And now the dude is zappin people that claim to be Laker fans like that thing flies run into..............zzzzttt.......zzzttt. Dude is outta control, I hate that they give these guys power like that and they probably never been in a leadership position ever in their life but some how they get to be a and think they run the world. And some of the guys he was zapping wasn't really going over board. It's just weak if you ask me.

Dude, seriously, is there a way to complain to whoever the head moderators and give that guy a warning for abusing his powers? I've been seeing a lot of questionable comments from him all season, and heaven for bid someone makes a comment that Lebron is anything less than the greatest player ever, and that the Cavs are not the best team, their comment is getting deleted and that poster is getting warned. I can't stand people like that, it really speaks to his insecurity....I wonder what he does for a living.

I shoulda just left the not fearing the Lakers part out of my post. But really, it wasn't intended to rile anyone up honestly. You guys have great reason to feel confident against the Cavs. If I fear anything it's definately the pair of 7 footers you have to throw at us. It equalizes if not eliminates our biggest strength. Which is rebounding, especially the offensive boards. We do have some streaky shooters, I'll admit. Delonte West is actually our best 3 point shooter, which hopefully he's back after the AS break. The Cavs have their flaws, but I really like our team. You guys have been so fortunate to win so many titles. I think maybe you misunderstand my excitement for our team. This is the best start in our franchise history. One loss doesn't do alot to take away from it. You was great on our forum the last time and its understandable that you didn't really visit this time. Congrats buddy, you're a good fan.

It's cool, I completely understand everything your saying....and as a fan of a 39-10 team, you really shouldn't fear any team. I wouldn't expect you to. It's basketball talk and it fine...you're welcome hear anytime.
