DEEP3CL wrote: And trust me when I say we don't fear the Cavs by any stretch. They lack depth on the bench and on the front line. I told your fans that the last time we played 3 weeks ago. Most of their shooters are streak shooters anyway. Plus we have the size to close down the driving lanes on LeBron. This will be even a much more taller task for the Cavs once Drew comes back.

In order the Cavs to beat the Lakers they'll have to rebound with a fierce passion, and Varajao will have to stop with the fake hustle and floppin and wild play.

The feeling is mutual bruh.

I shoulda just left the not fearing the Lakers part out of my post. But really, it wasn't intended to rile anyone up honestly. You guys have great reason to feel confident against the Cavs. If I fear anything it's definately the pair of 7 footers you have to throw at us. It equalizes if not eliminates our biggest strength. Which is rebounding, especially the offensive boards. We do have some streaky shooters, I'll admit. Delonte West is actually our best 3 point shooter, which hopefully he's back after the AS break. The Cavs have their flaws, but I really like our team. You guys have been so fortunate to win so many titles. I think maybe you misunderstand my excitement for our team. This is the best start in our franchise history. One loss doesn't do alot to take away from it. You was great on our forum the last time and its understandable that you didn't really visit this time. Congrats buddy, you're a good fan.

Don't get me wrong LTC, you have a right to be excited about the Cavs it's only natural. The Cavs have a hell of a team and this one loss won't hurt them. They'll move on and recover, my thing is I'll never down a team just to be doing it. I'll analyze what's what and call it for what it is. I do my home work on this stuff. Breaking down teams is nothing new to me or hard. It may come off as a criticism to some but I've been watching this game for 3 decades, I know what I'm talking about.

And I didn't take your post personal, your one of the quality posters from the Cavs board. I visited the board before the game, I try not to post after games because fans are usually hot and emotional which is understandable after a loss. But I did view your board during the game. Take down Boston !

The only thing Morrison is thinking if I were to get an opportunity anywhere along the line this is it. I get to take a starting job away from Luke Walton if I play well.

They are thinking that maybe they can get a ring the John Salle way with the Lakers this year. Great win by the Lakers. We definately match up better against the Cav's then the Celtics.

Against the Cavs we have a major advantage at the PF spot that I hope we keep over time. Ilgauskas only gets his shot off because we double and send a third man towards LeBron.

No neither one of those teams match up with the Lakers because they both lack pretty much the same things............size and depth off the bench. The Celtics have a bunch of runts they're posing as big men but truth of the matter is they're not. Powe and Davis are not no where near 6'10" or even 6'8" for that matter. And the Cavs don't have anybody besides Z and Ben over 6'9".

It's not about us trying to match up to other teams, it's about them trying to match up to us.

KG was still sick and not at 100% when we played them. Much like Kobe today. The Celtics bigs may not have the height of the Lakers but they have out-mouseled Bynum so far in his young career. Our chances this year may ultimately vome down to defending the 3. I think the Cav's are trying to match up against the Celtics and not so much us this season. I just hope we continue to rebound the way we did today.

Great game by LO.

Other than the confidence booster this will give LO.

I hope he takes 2 things from this game.

Be active and cut to the basket. Gasol and Kobe will find you.

Crash the boards at every shot, they wont see you coming and you could grab a key rebound and/or put back.

What I hope he doesn't do, is dribble too much and hold the ball in his hands for a long period of time and I hope he doesn't take pull up jumpers.

Play to your strengths LO, we saw what those were today.
Cheers. — Mags

theres the reason why lamar is in 3 of the top 4 lakers lineups in terms of +/-

and we saw it today

lamar's 3rd quarter showed why we covet him so much, especially when he kept beating jj hickson to the ball and spots on the floor time and time again

Go 6-0 on a road trip, snap Boston's 12 game winning streak, break the Cav's 23-0 record at home, and now hold tie-breakers over both of them. Meh.....
