Yeah that was my initial thought but what if it is something like Russell and 28th for 3rd and Okafour?

Do you think we do it? I believe Russell is going to be a very good player in the league but his personality is something that worries me a lot. The intentional turn over he caused because he had a misunderstanding with Randle comes to mind. He is going to be good but his personality is going to be a problem with this team.

Lonzo
Jackson
Ingram
Randle
Zubac

Looks like a very good team. My only problem is that it push us 2 more years back.

anyone that worries about personality should not be advocating a trade for Jackson in it.

There is a difference between having too much fire and being immature .

Yeah having anger/violent issues is definitely a lot worse than being immature. Glad we agree.

Why is the draft thread being overtaken by baseless made up trade ideas?

At least if people want to come up with Russell trades, how about coming up with some that actually make us better now and in the future.

There is ZERO change that we trade Dlo for just the #3 pick. Why would we give away the best player on the team for the #3 pick that could be a bust? As for throwing in the #28, Magic isnt giving away the team and picks?

If we trade Dlo, we are getting more than just the #3 back. It has to be a minimum 2 first round picks and possibly swaping of other players on top. The Lakers FO doesnt mind trading Clarkson but if we are trading one of the foundation for the Lakers, we better be getting some sweet deal.

Thank you. I don't understand our fans' assessment of players' value makes any sense. It's freaking ridiculous. Dlo has way more value than the crap I see posted here. I'm down to trade him too but not for peanuts.

I'd say there are a lot of homer goggles with DLo. Look at the facts.. He's slow, not athletic, not even quick, immature, high turn over pg. People claim he is a "shooter" but he shot like 35% from three this year. He got a loose handle and makes bad decisions with the ball causing lot of turn overs. He has to play like a Wiley vet to score because he can't blow by or shake by anyone.(like a poor man's old Sam cassell) Only way he can score is in pick n rolls. And did I mention hes immature?

Dlo was a miss, Porzingis was the right pick. If Pelinka can correct Mitch's mistake from couple years ago by getting a second pick into the top half of this year's lotto then he HAS to do it. Like I said before, this is probably the last year we get high value for him based on potential. Otherwise he has to show something next year. Show consistency and a 40% three.. He can't keep having 18 pt games followed up by 6 pt games with five tos. If Dlo struggles next year then we can only trade him for peanuts after..

Josh Jackson's interview showed a well spoken guy, handled the question about his anger management pretty well. Responses were a lot less cliche than Ball, which made it more enjoyable. Ball has to be so careful cause of the microscope he's under.

Did you go on a jog with Markelle recently? He played 36 minutes a game.

True. Furthermore, why has it been overtaken by fans who haven't watched anywhere near all the games of every lottery prospect?

It is hard to judge how a guy thinks just by listening to him speak but that is the closers you can get to evaluating a guy's thought process.

His speech reminds me a lot about Randle. I think Randle is the smartest guy we have on this team. The guys is a true professional.

We should not forget there were issues around Klay Thompson before draft but how did he do after that? If JJ's issues are repeated like Upshaw's then i will say beware
From ESPN:

The incident in December began inside the bar when Calvert threw a drink at her ex-boyfriend, Lagerald Vick, another Kansas player. She said she was upset because Vick attended the party with his new girlfriend.

Calver[t] told police Jackson followed her to her car and "was yelling for her to get out of the car and that he would beat her ass," the affidavit says.

...

The affidavit said the bumper, grille, fender, windshield, left tail lamp assembly and driver's side front door were all damaged, with a total repair cost of about $3,150. Witnesses reported Jackson only damaging the door and tail light, with an estimated damage of $1,127, and District Attorney Charles Branson said Jackson was not charged with felony criminal damage because it couldn't be proved that the player caused all the damage.

Magic Johnson said the Lakers are trying to schedule another workout for Lonzo Ball.
If Magic can make this happen, Ball will join Josh Jackson as the second player to visit with the Lakers twice. Ball was reportedly a little out of shape during his first visit, so maybe the Lakers want to give him another chance to prove himself. There have been many conflicting reports about what the Lakers will do with the second overall pick, but Ball is still considered the favorite to land in Los Angeles over the likes of Jackson and De'Aaron Fox.

In not opposed to trading Russell but why would we trade him for more youth? :banghead: our team already has enough youth and trading Russell ensures we give the Sixers a top 3 pick next year. If we trade Russell it should be for an all-star player that can be paired with Paul George.

Ramona was on with the morning show and confirmed this was pretty much all a smoke screen and that the "out of shape" thing is being overblown. That makes me feel a little better.

"turn overs"

"He's slow, not athletic, not even quick" ... You basically said the same thing three times in a row.

Most of what you said was all BS... so just stop lol. You're making yourself look dumb.
