HIPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Pretty sure HIPPA only applies in a clinical/hospital setting. Besides i havent said the persons name and other info that would give away who they are.

yeah - from my experience - i was in the operating room being handed a human aorta that was just removed and yet we still weren't allowed to formally even record the gender of the patient on the table due to hospital policies pertaining to hipaa. if you're doing work on cadavers i have a feeling it applies. in the very least, it's the ethical thing to not post pictures of cadavers. a facial photo can be considered identifying information.

Since we're on the subject. Its hilarious the way people remember muscle/tendon names for the body.
One example is the Linea Alba which is the line that goes through the middle of the abs. Apparently Jessica Alba has that well pronounced so you think of that to remember the name.

I still remember the capital of Bulgaria (Sofia) because in 6th grade there was a bulge in our sofa.

tugs wrote::lol: I knew you'd use that. Thought you'd get what I meant. You are using that 911 argument to what I posted, that incident involving people connected with Al Qaeda, and me using your logic in my argument. Not sure why it's as if it was me who brought it up and contradicting what I've said well in fact I just followed your logic.

Anyway, I'm not generalizing. And I get the sarcasm on those white people posts. All good. Still don't get the security thing opening your stuff without the owner's consent.

so what are you hiding in your luggage that you don't want them to see?

SK : No worries man. Was just asking. Renembered your flood posts and I got worried. Any specific don'ts we should watch out for (chewing gum, touching someone in the head, thungs like that).

hermes : Nothing.

Gek : It's good that you're here bro. Xraycame back and they said I have a mild thoracic levoscoliosis and straightening of the lumbar lordosis due to back spasms. I already talked with my specialist but I just want to get your opinion on this. I kind of decided to semi-retire basketball.

Got cleared last Wednesday and played Thursday. Not much pain just the expected ones from the physicality. Shot some hoops last Saturday and it was ok. Then yesterday I felt this pain in my lower hip, mid back, and the area where I have that scolio (T1-T5 btw). Got scared that I was doing nothing and that happened so I won't be doing any basketball any time soon and just focus on my William's & McKenzie's, work on my cardio and do more cycling and swimming, and my core strength.

Decided for a shut eye 11pm and was able to sleep almost 4am. That's how much I was disturbed.

Sorry too long.

The only time I went to Hanoi was at the airport.

I just had a meeting with a Canadian photographer who lived in Hanoi for 6 years. He said, and I quote, it's a cesspool in Hanoi.

Here's some links if you want to learn more about Hanoi.

I don't really like to pimp a butterfly but I was expecting a classic hip hop album from kdot not this. Maybe I'll like it in a couple months after listening many times but I'm not sure I will ever make it that far

tugs wrote:I get the 911 thing Ty but I'm with EArl. I'd somehow understand if my colleague resembles an Afghan/Indian/anyone from that region, but the man is a Chinese scientist. Ok so they wouldn't know his work just by looking but still.

Playing devil's advocate here...

The Chinese stealing/getting their hands on certain technology from us could potentially cause grave damage to our country in many ways as they are arguably the most capable "non-ally" in the world.

With the ways bad individuals try to exploit airports to get through security, Americans should be elated to have the "less than what could be" security policies that they have to deal with.
