everything's good now though. no electricity but we got our water supply back and the roof's being fixed. currently at the office making some mails and will be applying for a calamity loan.

so Ty, if ever I won't be able to get a connection by August, I'll let you know (dynasty league).

You're in those islands to the east of me right? You guys always get the worse stuff.

"down to earth" is a weird phrase, does it mean she's subject to the law of gravity like everyone else?

Kilroy seems a little edgy tonight. I expect that kind of behavior against me, but not against poor Simba.

Dont worry simba, kilroy has all this residual aggression from not locking a thread in a while. Its not personal.

And fwiw - not to rehash this - the bigger issue is that the girl in question is your sister's best friend. I had a similar conundrum last year, but I went for it. Luckily, she was cool about it because it basically amounted to a one night stand.

Dunno if that helps.

apparently the high pressure somewhere in Japan kept the typhoon from going it's usual track. the northern part always gets hit. we are also monitoring another low pressure area building up in the Pacific. hopefully it won't hit land this time.

no 'cause you're there. :P

btw thanks for the well wishes. appreciate it.

and Kilroy preaching. listen/read Simba, do this: tell someone about the situation. then have him or her make you choose between two index fingers; one to bang, the other not to bang. when you're asked to make the choice and if you:

a) feel ok with your pick - do that
b) feel uncertain - logic is telling you do the other one

simple.

Kilroy wrote:Let me see if I follow all the nuances of Regime's problem...

So a young woman, of legal age... An 'adult' if you will... May want to have sex with him...

But he's not sure he want's to allow this to happen, because he is 'looking for something more serious.'

I believe the Latin term for that is "Dumbass"...

So I'm thinking the young woman perhaps doesn't want to have anything more serious with Regime because in all likelihood, he is in fact a dumbass....

Whatever happened to the concept of a "Side Piece?"

Girls are smart... They talk about 'serious relationships' and go out and bang 15/20 guys while they're looking...

Oh... And stay safe Tugs... You find yourself in a position Regime never will...
Because he doesn't want to get blown...

I appreciate the candid advice but you're forgetting one key fact.....she's my sisters best friend. The whole side piece concept doesn't necessarily work when girls link back to your family one way or another. It's essentially a deathtrap.

I guess I haven't been specific enough. There's more to this than me passing up ass. I'm burnt out trying to impress girls just so I can get in their pants for one night. I've been there and done than too many times, it just doesn't have that same appeal anymore.
