to be frank it's laughable that the Suns have a long term grade of B+ and the kings have a B- and the lakers are at a C.

Yeah the contracts hinder more short term flexibility than any long term ones. By the time Ingram and Russell are up for contract renewals and they are good enough to help us be competitive, the contracts will be off the books anyways. Besides paying the luxury tax to resign your own players isn't as big an issue for the organization as it is for other teams.

Kings do not have a bright future imo..
Suns have really just 1 bright spot and no real FA appeal...
The Lakers have more potential talent overall with development, max cap space next year, and if they show promise and culture under Walton they are definitely far better long term than both of those teams.
