It sure looked like there was a lot of body contact and slapping going on around drew when he got the ball...
I don't know if it was intentional or not but I see it happen in every game I watch no matter what team is playing... It definately seems like on any given night the refs have some agenda with some player. Whether it's calling fouls every time anyone even comes close to a player or whether it's swallowing their whistles around someone.
To me ref inconsistancy and the perceived agenda they seem to have sometimes, is the single biggest reason I don't watch as much NBA basketball as I used to. It's also why I most likely will never buy tickets for a game again. How many of you have paid good money to go see a game and have it seem like it was your teams night to get the shaft?
The solution is simple... Call the fouls the exact same way for everyone every single time.
That means no favorites with the Veteran Players, no free pass for Lebron when he's going against the Sasha's of the league, and no 'this just ain't your night kid.'
Again, I don't know if it really was a ref agenda against Bynum. It's just that there's been way too many issues with how games have been called over the last 10 or so years. It needs to change.
And to me, the refs shouldn't be talking to the players at all during the game... Make the right call and stand by it. The players should know by now what the call was and why.
