Will you walk 2 km to pick up $20? If not, you can use it as analogy for the incentive argument, if yes, it would tell something about you.

Sure. I could use the exercise and I'm not too proud for $20.

But that's not relevant. What would be relevant is doing a few minutes of paperwork and a trade call for a million dollars. And yeah I'd do that too.

But this is pointless. You think one million dollars has no value to the Grizzlies. I disagree. We don't have to agree.

Agreed. Also I dont’t think Memphis would want to create some kind perception on the market that its players are available for candies. It might bite then in their futire trade activities more serious than the proposed one.

Yeah my number 1 priority for Dallas this off season is to add premium shooting. Yes I'd like a 3rd creator. Yes I'd like one more wing defender. But what hurt this team in the end was lack of shooting. That has to be addressed.

I like adding shooting to DAL, but they should be able to get minutes come playoff time. Kennard is not it. Another Seth Curry won't cut it. Gotta be able to do more than shooting, be it handle the ball or defend at a decent level to fill a role.

Hard to disagree, but Dallas’ options are limited

It’s been a minute since I’ve watched Kennard much but when he was in Detroit I always found him to be a pretty underrated playmaker and not just a shooter. Has that changed?

If I’m Detroit, picking up Kennard would be further down my list, but his shooting would help. Higher up the list would be taking on contracts with 2025 picks attached. But Kennard on an expiring could get a pick at the deadline…..
