Yeah my number 1 priority for Dallas this off season is to add premium shooting. Yes I'd like a 3rd creator. Yes I'd like one more wing defender. But what hurt this team in the end was lack of shooting. That has to be addressed.

I like adding shooting to DAL, but they should be able to get minutes come playoff time. Kennard is not it. Another Seth Curry won't cut it. Gotta be able to do more than shooting, be it handle the ball or defend at a decent level to fill a role.

It’s been a minute since I’ve watched Kennard much but when he was in Detroit I always found him to be a pretty underrated playmaker and not just a shooter. Has that changed?

If I’m Detroit, picking up Kennard would be further down my list, but his shooting would help. Higher up the list would be taking on contracts with 2025 picks attached. But Kennard on an expiring could get a pick at the deadline…..
