Their depth is awful after this trade for a team that came into deadline desperate for depth. They are already over the salary cap next year with KD, Booker, Ayton, CP3 and Shamet. Even if they tried to cut cP3 non-guaranteed part of contract they would still be over the cap so no point in doing that anymore this summer.
They probably should trade Saric for legit anyone that can be under contract and help them this year and next.
