Thats my opinion atleast. Not sure why people that isnt from the franchise is allowed to even record from trainings at all

This is legit assault dude, and Myers, before the video came out, basically said he wasnt gonna suspend Green and was gonna sweep it under the rug. You dont see why the NBA might care about the Warriors trying to sweep this under the rug now that millions of people have seen Draymond clock Poole?

I wouldn't be surprised if partway through the season a team is willing to take him, and maybe even give a small amount of value (e.g. 2 2nds). Walker Kessler is also definitely an NBA player. Not a special one, but I think he's going to be really solid.

How is Kessler’s speed? The biggest concerns on draft night were that he would struggle to keep up with the quicker bigs in the NBA. Honestly, I wish I could see more Jazz games just to watch how he and Vando do for you guys.

He's is slow but I don't think it's going to mean he is not an NBA player. I think he is likely an excellent backup or a serviceable but unspectacular starter at some point soon. We are playing Vando at small forward with Lauri and Kelly in the fromtcourt, so we love him, he's so versatile defensively.

Beasley was a love hate for me, and Lea was a sad disappointment. But I do really love V8 and I have high hopes for Kessler (even if it’s not with us.) It’s funny, I was advocating moving V8 to SF for months last season. I think it probably is his best position. He is quick enough to defend 1-3 and his length really bothers smaller players.

Yah I'm sad about Bolmaro. None of the creativity we saw from him is on display in the NBA. I assume it is because the speed of the league.

I don't know why, but between a tough West, the Ayton/Monty issue, losing Crowder impact, ownership/culture issue, etc. I could see the Suns possibly being closer to the play-in than championship.

I think Utah will be cutting Rudy Gay, Leandro Bolmaro, and Saben Lee to get to our roster limit. I could see Stanley Johnson instead of Bolmaro just because Bolmaro has team control, or Jared Butler instead of Lee for the same reason.

Was John Wall opposed to going to the Lakers?
I still don't understand why Houston didn't trade him there and pickup a 2nd or cash considerations at least.

I believe the hold up was that Houston thought they deserved a FRP for taking Westbrook off of the Lakers' hands.

Whatever the reason, I'm glad. Wall seems to be at about 65-70% of what he was, which is an upgrade to having Jackson out there for 40+ minutes or Kennard, Norm, Amir and T moonlighting as a PG

So-called rigging is because of "unlikely" coincidences in small sample sizes. We see this all the time in data science. People, who are not as logical as machines--I swear I'm not a robot (do you believe me?)--construct stories to explain the world (& bad luck).

What you see in that video is a criminal act of assault.

It's beyond ridiculous for any professional organization to be playing cover up with something like this. That's the kind of **** that gets people fired after somebody else somehow gets ahold of it and leaks it to the press.

What a sad comment about our society as a whole that some people believe criminal behavior like this should be covered up.

It constantly amuses me to see garbage like this here.

It also makes it painfully obvious that most posters are:

1) pretty young

2) have never been competitive athletes and spent time in a locker room

3) show the lack of backbone this country has

Fact is that I grew up heavily involved in competitive varsity level sports through college. A lot of this **** had always gone on. The coach deals with it and the next day you are teammates again against the other guys. The advent of video in everybody’s lives now simply bring to light things that happen in a highly competitive and volatile environment. If there was something to make of it I assure you that would have happened.

You also have no idea what was done to provoke the hit. I have many times seen aggressive smaller guys in basketball egg bigger guys, hit them in slick unnoticed ways and outright smack or pop them thinking they can get away with it because they are smaller or having a chip in their shoulder and a mouth that their smaller size can’t cash.

I think it’s best not to play Real GM attorney and leave this to the professionals to deal with. There’s a good reason why JORDAN POOLE isn’t pressing charges and I highly doubt it’s because the owner or GM told him not to in a union protected environment run by the strongest sports union in the country.

Let me finish that for you chief. Fact is you know nothing, but think posts like this make you look tough on the internet. And its sad that your post suggests you are a person of some age. Your political agenda is your business, but not on the trade board. Take it elsewhere

I do think the person that leaked the video has done harm here to Jordan, Green and the Warriors who came out and squashed the story pre-footage.

I think it's most distressing for Jordan that he had to take a hit and then have it published for people to see. Nothing good can come of that for him.
- he's already having people questioning his fight if he has no retaliation for Green, I imagine personally he'd have peope telling him to respond.
- can imagine family will want more punishment for Green and even question how Jordan can be a teammate with this guy. Which can only add more conflict for him moving forward.
- opposing players will be using this to trash talk him from now on.

I don't know why the public needs to see this stuff. But the leaker is no friend to any of these people except maybe the guys who don't want to pay Green and Poole a ridiculous sum.

I don't understand the "Jordon should feel embarrassed" angle. He got suckerpunched by a guy he at worst considered a workplace colleague and at best a friend. That he had the restraint not to bullrush him back should be a source of pride.

But who knows, maybe I'm not Alpha Giga Chad enough to understand the bro code.

If its legit assault, its up to the legal system to handle it, not nba. So whichever way u go nba shouldnt be involved.

Also its no suckerpunch. If u push someone like that and not expect to be clocked u are (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Thats just how it is. Problem is that most guys in the nba lives in a bubble, specially the young guys.

Not saying green poole or gsw is in the right here, just saying it went the normal way i expected. A leads to B leads to C. Dont know why people are surprised. And luckily its men, a punch blows over a lot faster then words

Without knowing what was said to start the escalation, it makes little sense to place the blame on an individual party. From the looks, Dray was wrong by invading the space of Poole, going chest to chest. Many humans would create space like Poole did, just maybe not with the amount of five he did. Poole probably shouldn’t have done that. Dray reacted with a KO (shouldn’t have done that). Each point is linked. Poole must have crossed a line to set off Dray. From there, obvious crap happened. I don’t see any sucker punching, and I think it’s a bit presumptuous to draw conclusions. We don’t know what we don’t know. It’s fascinating, but we don’t know anything.

At this point, it doesn’t matter to us as humans. If charges are pressed, then legal teams should take care of it. It they aren’t pressed, then the Warriors should take care of it. The league should probably stay out of it.

This isn't high school basketball. It's professional basketball. There's some minimal expectations, in terms of player behavior, that go along with all the money.

These debates always break down into those who think violence should come with some societal sanction, and those who don't. It my standard suspicion that those who advocate for no sanctions are telling on themselves.

It also feels like the ownership aren't big fans of Green while Steph and maybe Myers have his back, which has enabled his behavior go unchecked until now. There's a good chance whoever leaked the video did it as a favor to the owners. They for one, get to put a stronger leash on Draymond and secondly, manufacture a reason to move him on and reduce what looks like a gargantuan luxury tax bill.

It's interesting to me that the "this is normal stuff in sports" crowd seems to be strictly a segment of fans and those associated with the Warriors. Maybe I've missed something but other players saying stuff have not supported that concept but have gone the opposite way.

Either way the Warriors have not handled this well. The video shouldn't have leaked but the organization also shouldn't be skirting around it now that it's out.

It probably hurt his ego since he likes to show off to women, and now that everyone saw the video he probably thinks that after he got knocked out and didn't do anything about it his machismo level dropped a bit. Nothing to get embarrassed about but who knows what a young famous athlete may feel after that incident

Yeah that's possible. I think the video has certainly made keeping the roster cheaper though. So ownership save money regardless of if they keep Green or not.
