I don't think it matters how good Trae Young gets on offense. As long as he remains a terrible defender, teams are going to exploit him in the playoffs. For that reason, I'd take Luka. Luka isn't a great defender or anything, but at least he has the size, girth and strength to not be a liability. You can't scheme to exploit him like teams will do to Young.
I would go the opposite way. IMO defense matters less at the PG position relative to the wing position. Wings have to rotate and switch more. Bad defensive PGs can be hidden on a spot up shooter than can't dribble.
Teams have done a good job hiding their defensively weak guards in the playoffs. You rarely see PGs , mostly slow footed bigs and wing defenders. Look at POR, they have two weak guard defenders and do just fine scheme wise in the postseason.
