Here's the best Bucks-Cavs trade I can make. Basically, the Bucks trade all of their bad 3-4 year contracts for 1-2 year contracts. Cleveland also sends two first round picks with minimal protection on them.

Any Bucks fan that says Bogut is untouchable should be ignored.

Untouchable? No. If were rebuilding? More then likely. Seriously doubt we'd be able to package him with anybody for a "star" oung player which is the only thing I could see happening with him.

There's a reason you're the only one running around claiming Bogut needs to be traded and he's the problem.

Ron Artest will never be a Buck for anything. Not a 2nd round pick, not Gadzuric, nothing.

I never said Bogut is the sole problem. I said he is part of the problem. Boguts nothing special and he holds alot more value then he is accually worth. Im not saying trade just Bogut. Im open for trading anyone except future superstar Yi. If teams value Bogut around Redd which they probly do then if the right deal comes along you might pull the trigger.

So the poor Bucks give the ONE guy who CAN score 20+.....for more bench stuff???

Maybe getting a lot of Browns for one Redd is good if you're swapping crayons....

Could the Bucks re-up Artest assuming he is traded to the Bucks? With the fear of being a rental, the Bucks could re-sign him....

Of course they could try. But that's between the Bucks and Artest...why Kings fans think they'll be compensated for it is beyond me.

Well, that's just sheer idiocy. Apparently you'd rather deal with Gadz's long term deal than to get it off the books, all for the cost of telling Artest to be prepared to sign wherever he wanted.

Interesting.

The Bucks aren't as bad as their record shows. I wouldn't talk about blowing up the team just yet. They have a good blend of youth and veterans. But yeah, Bogut has to go. He's like a Darko clone.

Here's the deal for a Bucks blowup.

Everyone's available.

Least likely to be traded is obviously Yi. after all we went through getting him here, after catching some revenue from Chinese companies, after a solid start to his rookie year and flashing significant potential, he's going nowhere in all likelihood.

Bogut and Mo are probably not going to be moved. Bogut is a decent NBA center, who is developing into a very good defensive player. He is fairly poor offensively, but he contributes enough there to keep teams honest. Mo is our best player. Most people don't know it yet (including Michael Redd), but its true. He our most coachable guy. He is our best "leader" whatever that means, and he's a great guy. Plus he's still young, makes a reasonable deal, and most importantly plays very well in the pick and roll/pop with Bogut and Yi respectively.

Redd is gone. Has to go. This is the 5th year of his alpha dog status and nothing has changed. He needs to go to a team with a guy or two better than him so he can stop trying to be a hero everynight. He's just not cut out for it. In any deal that takes Redd, either Simmons or Gadzuric have to go out for shorter (preferably expiring) contracts as well. Other requisite is a pick or a solid prospect.

CV will be moved. I'm hoping that he has enough value to move either Simmons.Gadz (whoever isn't gone with Redd) for expirings. I doubt that's the case, but even a few million of expirings would help.

Charlie Bell goes to any offering an expiring deal. He is shooting the ball awful this year, but a change of scenary would liely turn that around.

Crib notes:

Keep: Mo, Yi, Bogut

Trade: Redd with Simmons, CV with Gadz, Bell

Get: As many expirings as possible, friendly contracts otherwise, one pick or prospect.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Hey I never said I wouldn't trade Artest for Gadz I just said the Bucks never would. It was said on local radio today that Artest would never be a Buck.

I'd do a Jeff Green + Delonte West + Kurt Thomas for Michael Redd. However I'm sure most sonic fans would disagree with me.

And as a Bucks fan I would happily do that trade as well.

Good trade for the Bucks. I keep using the Ray Allen trade as a reference point for a Redd trade and now we get the same deal back with Thomas instead of Wally.

But I think you are right that some Sonics fans don't see the logic (understandably).

Redd, Mason, Gadzuric for Hinrich, Wallace, and Sefolosha.

Two younger guys for the rebuilding project. Three good defenders. Wallace has a shorter contract than Redd and Gadzuric. Hinrich's contract is front-loaded so it'll become more reasonable every year.

Darius Miles, a 2009 first-rounder, and Jarrett Jack for Bobby Simmons.
