Here's the deal for a Bucks blowup.
Everyone's available.
Least likely to be traded is obviously Yi. after all we went through getting him here, after catching some revenue from Chinese companies, after a solid start to his rookie year and flashing significant potential, he's going nowhere in all likelihood.
Bogut and Mo are probably not going to be moved. Bogut is a decent NBA center, who is developing into a very good defensive player. He is fairly poor offensively, but he contributes enough there to keep teams honest. Mo is our best player. Most people don't know it yet (including Michael Redd), but its true. He our most coachable guy. He is our best "leader" whatever that means, and he's a great guy. Plus he's still young, makes a reasonable deal, and most importantly plays very well in the pick and roll/pop with Bogut and Yi respectively.
Redd is gone. Has to go. This is the 5th year of his alpha dog status and nothing has changed. He needs to go to a team with a guy or two better than him so he can stop trying to be a hero everynight. He's just not cut out for it. In any deal that takes Redd, either Simmons or Gadzuric have to go out for shorter (preferably expiring) contracts as well. Other requisite is a pick or a solid prospect.
CV will be moved. I'm hoping that he has enough value to move either Simmons.Gadz (whoever isn't gone with Redd) for expirings. I doubt that's the case, but even a few million of expirings would help.
Charlie Bell goes to any offering an expiring deal. He is shooting the ball awful this year, but a change of scenary would liely turn that around.
Crib notes:
Keep: Mo, Yi, Bogut
Trade: Redd with Simmons, CV with Gadz, Bell
Get: As many expirings as possible, friendly contracts otherwise, one pick or prospect.
