Eddie House (1.5)
Dominic McGuire (0.4, min)
Stephane Lasme (0.4, min)

Total: 1.5 (without minimums)

Houston Sends/Portland Receives:
Luke Jackson (0.77, minimum)
Chris Quinn (0.68, minimum)

Portland: trade works because outgoing > incoming of 1.45

Houston: trade works because McGuire and Lasme are minmum contracts, so outgoing (1.45) * (1.25) is greater than incoming (1.5 from House)

Portland Accepts, and with a new 07-08 salary figure of $ 53,125,732 after the trade, The Portland Trail Blazers would like to claim PG Lindsey Hunter and his $2,250,000 salary off waivers (from pg.47):

Wait, the Rockets got Lasme from the Blazers in your trade on pg. 58. Then, he traded me Lasme in our trade on pg. 59

well, he was supposed to get powell, but u said lasme in your trade without looking twice, so i had to change powell to lasme, but whatever i'll change lasme to powell this time, didnt u get the email from houston?

Total: 2.67, (1.5 without minimums)

Houston: trade works because Jackson and Lasme are minmum contracts, so outgoing (1.9) is > incoming (1.5 from House)

2nd Trade:
Houston Receives/Portland Sends:
Hilton Armstrong (1.9)

Houston Sends/Portland Receives:
Eddie House (1.5)

For Houston: 1.5 x 1.25 = 1.875, then add 100k, it equals 1.975, therefore it works
For Portland: outgoing bigger than incoming, therefore it works

Portland Accepts and helps Houston set the table with scrub salary fillers, while keeping their own roster trimmed to the minimum of 12.

ya, but i posted after you posted your trade w/ lasme. how about you keep it as lasme in your 1st trade, and make it powell in your 2nd trade, i'd rather have lasme than powell anyway.

no, i posted the trade originally with powell, but u said lasme for no reason in your trade for wilcox, so Houston emailed you and you said fine to powell iirc, and then i saw that you didnt change it so i was like wtf okay then i changed it back to lasme (hence the 1st edit on that post) so your trade can go through even though you apparently agreed with houston. Oh well not like it matters lol I'll change it back to whatever, Houston's not likely to play powell for more than a minute a game anyway (hence the 2nd edit, with powell back in place)

i don't really want to clog up the transactions thread w/ this, but, you posted the trade, but then, you deleted it. then, as soon as you posted the trade (where it said lasme), i posted ours. it doesn't really matter though.

Yeah sorry folks, slight bit of confusion, thats all, Miami gets Lasme, Hosuton gets Carlos Powell, end of debate.

The Portland Trail Blazers and The Charlotte Bobcats Have Agreed on a Small Trade.

To Charlotte:
Luke Jackson (770,610, minimum)

To Portland:
Future Considerations

This trade works because the Bobcats are under the cap and can fit Luke into their roster.

Portland accepts and is now looking to shed some space off their roster once more.

The Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns have agreed upon a trade.

Phoenix Receives

PF Malik Allen---------- $770,610
SF Carlos Powell------ $427,163

Total: 1,197,773

Houston Receives

SG Luther Head-------1,122,000

Total: 1,122,000

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Houston accepts, though we are disappointed with losing Allen's veteran play at the PF position, in the end, who can say no to Head. ;)

Just something I want to clarify:

Who has Randolph Morris, me or Houston? because I think I was the first to claim him off waivers and I can't see where TMAC did that and yet Morris is listed on his roster page...

can somebody plz clear this up?

The Rockets got him. He was claimed by the Rockets the very post after he was waived.

The Portland Trail Blazers, New Jersey Nets, and Houston Rockets Have Agreed on 2 Separate Trades.

Courtesy of The Oregonian

1st Trade:

New Jersey Trades:
Bostjan Nachbar = 2.5

New Jersey Receives:
Chuck Hayes = 1.75 (incoming less than outgoing, so it works)

Portland Trades:
Chris Quinn = 0.7

Portland Receives:
Eddie House (1.5, Portland is under the cap and cap absorb House's contract)

Houston Trades:
Chuck Hayes (BYC, so outgoing is 0.875) + Eddie House (1.5) = 2.375

Houston Receives:
Bostjan Nachbar, Chris Quinn = 2.5 (2.375 x 1.25 is greater than 2.5, so it works)

2nd Trade

Before 2nd Trade, Portland claims [Stephen Graham] and [Sean Marks] off waivers.

New Jersey Trades:
Chuck Hayes (1.75, BYC came off) + Jarron Collins (2.35) = 4.1

New Jersey Receives:
Eddie House (1.5) + Earl Barron (0.975) = 2.475 (incoming less than outgoing, so it works)

Portland Trades:
Stephen Graham + Sean Marks (2x $ 770,610 minimums, total is about 1.5 million) + Eddie House = Total of 3 million

Portland Receives:
Chuck Hayes (1.75) + Mickael Gelabale (0.8 ) + Dominic McGuire (minimum) = 2.55 total (incoming less than outgoing, so it works)

Houston Trades:
Earl Barron (0.975) + Mickael Gelabale (0.8 ) + Dominic McGuire (0.4) = 2.155

Houston Receives:
Jarron Collins (2.35) + Stephen Graham and Sean Marks (both minimums) = 2.35 total (2.155 * 1.25 = 2.69, therefore it works)

Portland Accepts, and welcomes a fresh batch of energy guys to its roster.
