But somebody(ies) will for sure. And frankly Brown is a pretty good starting point for a Beal package so its not that crazy. And if Washington didn't want Brown, you could absolutely get any number of 3rd teams willing to load up plenty more futures to take Brown as a consolation prize.
I like the 3-team option with NO. Beal/Brown/Ingram
NO has lots of ball-handlers (including Zion as a big) and needs better defense and off-the-ball offensive threat without taking a big talent downgrade from Ingram. Brown is a very good fit, still good enough to be a #2 on a good team and young enough to fit long-term.
Ingram is more of a guy you might try and build around as a #1 on an otherwise limited team as he's better at creating offense for himself (I'm assuming Westbrook would be moved for EC filler if they deal Beal).
Or if Washington wants more of a rebuild package then there's GS.
Bertans would eventually get traded?
