Not a Bridges but a Ingram to Houston
Hawks Trade: Murray + Capela + Matthews
FOR
Amen + JVal (expiring) + Dipo (expiring)
Why= Amen next to Trae could be exciting.
Pelicans Trade: Ingram + JVal + Filler (Alvarado?)
FOR
Murray + Capela + Jeff Green
Why= new backcourt and defense next to Zion.
Capela
Zion
Murphy
McCollum
Murray
Rockets Trade: Amen + Dipo + Jeff
FOR
Ingram + Matthews + Pels Filler
Why= pivot from crazy Bridges offers to Ingram.
***Maybe some picks are due to exchange here, leave that up to discussion.

I would prefer to have Ingram over Bridges. And for me it is not close.
When you look for the bad in something, expecting to find it, you certainly will.

I'd rather do picks than Amen, who's a pretty rough fit around trae anyways. Idk if there's something workable that way

I don’t know - Trae needs a defensive specialist. Amen is that. If he can learn to shoot like Dort, Hawks have their backcourt.

Re: Not a Bridges but a Ingram to Houston
Absent Ingram going to the Pels and telling them he has no interest in extending AND that he wants a trade right now, there's no reason for the Pels to consider anything like this.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Maybe some picks? Ingram is better then Murray, JVal then Capela and Alvarado then Jeff Green, hell yea there are some picks due there.
Value aside i don't see That Pels lineup working out, outside Capela no1 plays above average defense(Murray is overrated on that side of the ball) and having 2 non shooters on the floor kills it on offense.
Pels current starting lineup is not that great, but even that lineup is by far better then this one.

I have Capela > JVal
Murray is better D than Ingram and Capela better D than JVal…so not sure how defense is in question.
Shooters come off then bench. Including lineups when no center is needed.

This is not 2018, Capela is washed and Dejonte stopped playing defense couple years ago. He has the tools but not the will and brains for it.
Ingram also has tools but not brains and will, to play the defense. And you put Jones on the bench to add Murphy because shooting would otherwise be terrible and trust me downgrade from Jones to Murphy on defense is greater then upgrade from 2024 Capela to Valanciunas.

Wouldn't Hawks just take Ingram?

Boney Boys - The hot new duo the league didn’t know they needed!
Zion might weigh more then Trae and Ingram combined and that’s just wild
The OP is an interesting mix that doesn’t quite hit the spot for either ATL or NO. Houston obviously gets the best end of the stick and would need to add value, but I don’t love Ingrams fit for the value he’d warrant.

Play him at SG? Trae and Ingram backcourt?

I don’t see NOP doing this. I think Capela/Jonas is still a worth a late first and NOP should figure out a way to do that. But the Murray/Ingram swap hurts more than the other helps. And don’t really know how much it costs to fix it.
For Houston, specifically.. I’d probably try to get Jalen+whatever for Ingram done and keep Amen out of it..

How is this different from Zion and Adams? And why do we have to pay for it?
