His rebounding and effort are contagious, meaning that other guys are stepping up and rebounding and making other plays. Nothing to do with UD's numbers.GreenHat wrote:420 wrote:It's all about Haslem. His rebounding and effort are contagious. Haslem embodies Miami Heat basketball.
I'm proud of the way the guys are playing.
I disagree that it's all about Haslem. The numbers just don't back that up and in fact tell the opposite story.
The only thing bad is the 0-4. And it's only 4 shots, which means he wasn't costing us possessions. 6 REB in 27 min is close to 8 or 9 per36, so that sounds about right for UD. Personally, I've never expected Udonis to be a stat stuffer and rack up dimes, blocks, and steals. Defense, rebounds, energy, and high % shooting has always been what we should expect from UD.RexBoyWonder wrote:420 wrote:It's all about Haslem. His rebounding and effort are contagious. I agree the effort is much better but......
27 minutes : 6 rebounds (0 offensive), 0 points, 0-4 from the field (wide open jumpers and asisted layups), 1 turnover, 0 blocks, 0 asists.
Also, we have to consider how the starting lineup and other guys are beginning to make effort plays and rebounding better. UD has been the tone setter.
