I disagree that it's all about Haslem. The numbers just don't back that up and in fact tell the opposite story.
His rebounding and effort are contagious, meaning that other guys are stepping up and rebounding and making other plays. Nothing to do with UD's numbers.

I agree the effort is much better but......

27 minutes : 6 rebounds (0 offensive), 0 points, 0-4 from the field (wide open jumpers and asisted layups), 1 turnover, 0 blocks, 0 asists.

The only thing bad is the 0-4. And it's only 4 shots, which means he wasn't costing us possessions. 6 REB in 27 min is close to 8 or 9 per36, so that sounds about right for UD. Personally, I've never expected Udonis to be a stat stuffer and rack up dimes, blocks, and steals. Defense, rebounds, energy, and high % shooting has always been what we should expect from UD.

Also, we have to consider how the starting lineup and other guys are beginning to make effort plays and rebounding better. UD has been the tone setter.
