Completely disagree i think bosh is what will make this team win by playing inside the paint.
In my opinion, Heat fans who have bought into the "Big 3" media hype will be in for a letdown with Bosh, who might be the most overrated forward in the league. Bosh isn't known for his defense, and has a reputation as being soft. On a team with Wade and Lebron, Bosh will be a role player who will go along for the ride.
As dominant as Wade and LBJ can be, unless the Heat develop a dominant inside game, they won't beat Boston or LA. The Lakers are a huge mismatch for most teams because they have three seven footers, plus a bruiser, plus Kobe. Kobe would negate either Wade or LBJ, while Artest's defense would hold down the other. But Miami would have little to stop Bynum, Odom, and Gasol from dominating the paint.
in my opinion, those of you who have bought into the "Bosh is soft/overrated" BS will be in for a major surprise this season. Bosh came into this league as a defense minded player....but had the role of 'franchise player/lead scorer' thrown on him the day Vince left. Bosh is not & probably will never fall into the psycho-KG category defensively...but he is more than capable of playing solid defense and getting you stops. and if any Raptors fans wish to be 'real'....they'll admit that he helped to come up with timely/clutch rebounds and blocks.
this is Chris' time to show what else he can provide outside of scoring. i believe he is going to have a career year in rebounds while his ppg will slip. he is not the defensive sieve that people are making him out to be. it's amazing how they discount his scoring by putting it into context ("well...he WAS the best player in Toronto...of course the offense ran through him"), but refuse to put his defense into context as well.
i am going to enjoy watching him blossom & raise the other parts of his game now that he no longer needs to carry the offensive load.
