1-year rental is very different. I bet Kawhi would have sought out his next point of leverage to control his destination if it wasn't just a 1-year rental. Plus the acquiring team takes on even more risk bc it costs more when the player is under contract for multiple years.

Lol. You think Haynes needs Dame’s permission to do his job?
Of course not unless he still wants to get exclusives from Lillard.

It unlocks 2024 but what else? I don’t think the Heat 2024 is worth much to the Blazers since it will probably be very late. Better off just taking the pick from BK.
The pick goes to Miami and they keep it to unlock 2024/2026/2028/2030

3 or 4 team deals are super elaborate and there's a lot of players involved/big money switching salary caps/several pick stipulations. It's going to take a while for it all to get approved if they move forward with it. It isn't just throwing it into a trade machine and getting "SUCCESS" spit back at them.

The fact that you guys are honestly insinuating Dame is going to cut Haynes off for saying other teams are calling Portland about him is comical. This is what NBA teams do when a star is on the market. Every offseason people act like this is their first time around the rodeo.

Not a starter in any western postseason team.
Hes a sixth man getting paid like a starter.
Yet this "bum" is supposed to be the central piece in a Dame Lillard trade and wondering what's taking so long? You can't denigrate a player at every opportunity then flip it that he's worth being the only piece worth a damn in a superstar trade? Make it make sense.
Well the blazers have no use for him and don’t view him as better than any of their guards and now Brooklyn is saying they want picks to take him on. We need you on the phone asap talking to Brooklyn to sell them on the importance of adding Devin Booker 2.0+ to their roster after the success Mikal already had next to Booker
