I doubt Lillard watched Bam cheesing and posing with his Heat teammates (who just beat them) right after the game and thought to himself “thats who I need to team up with”.
It's not even about that, it's more about skillsets.
Bam has yet to prove he's a bona fide playoff time legit star.
He's still not a guy you can count on to rise for the big moments, take a game or a key stretch over, to demand the ball and make plays, to be aggressive when things get hard.
Right now he's a proven good versatile player with a limited offensive game, more of a Draymond Green - superb role player that needs legit offensive stars next to him.
He's young and growing, so hopefully he can prove to be more then that in the next couple of years. Untill then, I don't see any legit win-now star demanding to come play with Bam.
