Currently as it stands we can’t run it back without cutting some serious salary. With only 3.8 million away from 2nd apron we will be paying Strus and Vincent double anything we offer in tax alone.
Was never a huge Beal fan BUT
1) he's better then Herro
2) we CANT RUN IT BACK (and shouldn't)
3) What's the plan now?!
We’ll get some misfit players and will keep a disgruntled Herro. FML

You're welcome LeBron.
Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.

Beal basically gets us a championship. When people say put your money where you mouth is, its not a metaphor. We have seen time after time what we do and dont do. This is something that James Jones used to help sell the idea of Beal coming over. One team is not scared to pay, they will put their money where their mouth is. The other team uses winning like a cheap pr phrase. When it comes time to spending to win we dont. 3 out of 4 years we do nothing.
Hard to argue with their methods with all these deep playoff runs though. An injury break here or there and were champs one of these last few years.

Vertical Limit wrote:It aint over yet.. i said it a few days ago on the other thread, Beal for Herro is a wash.. Beal offers nothing defensively, and cant stay healthy. I honestly dont even know how Beal/Booker/Durant fit together, neither excel off the ball.. but thats the Suns problems, they can deal with trying to take turns in iso..
Lets get Brook Lopez here.. lets talk to Portland, Golden State for Klay (if theyre willint to shed salary), the clipps may be looking to shed slaary and cut ties with PG and Kawhi, Tyron Lue isnt extending his contract which is all you need to know about their situation.
We still have plenty of ways to improve the roster.
The fundamentals of the Beal trade were just taking on salary at a bargain rate of our trash players. This was as easy as it can get, it's like running the fast break with no one behind you and we bleeped it up.
All of those other proposed players will cost real assets, and worse still take us into the tax so it's not realistic. This was the cheapest one could get an Allstar for, all we needed to do was pay the tax. We can talk about winning and culture until we are blue in the face but actions speak louder than words. I cant even get mad at Pat, well maybe a little but at the end of the day it was always about the tax.

We’re going after dame but we’ll lose the sweepstakes per usual. Pat can’t seal the deal anymore
Bad cap state for the Heat. They created it themselves with some of these **** up contracts they handed out. Beal would have been another to be honest.
I keep on posting the numbers for everyone to see for a reason. Really sucks. Need to get off of Oladipo and Robinson accounting for up to 28 million worth of cap money that can be used to sign our free agents and MLE player. Lowry’s expiring next year is needed to wash those salaries out. It’s a fine line slippery slope

Suns will be the new Nets. From getting KD for that huge price to this. They have 0 chances against Denver

I don't feel that way. We paid Lowry 30 million a year at retirement age. He has not earned that. Paid Duncan too much and didn't find PT for him. Paid Bam early. Paid Herro early and too much. Paid Waiters and crew... We def pay.
Hell, paying Beal would've been another Miami mistake. I still would've done it based on how close we were to winning it all, and the need for offense, but it's still a baaaad contract.

Once again, we let the social media hype get our hopes up. However, the reality never changed with Bradley Beal. He did not prefer Miami and never did. This years long fascination with an overrated and overpaid player has been comical.

cant loose sight of that.....
Beal's contract is not pretty.
With Duncan and lowery going out....that is putting a lot of eggs in one basket.
Miami must be looking at someone else that is more then "herro+dipo" hence they want lowery on one deal and Duncan on another.
or
They actually intend to keep hero and they want Lowery and Dipo on one deal and Duncan on another.

Dame's mouthpiece is saying that but watch it be KD 2.0. We will not cook and the market will dry up and we'll run it back

Sounds like Pheonix owner and Wiz owner got involved personally.... Nothing aggressive about Pheonix legal trade offer.

Another massive contract. Would've preferred Beal and Kristaps to be honest. Sorry Dame fans.

Him not preferring Miami has no validity. We couldn’t get it done numbers wise. Well we could of for our part but not for the Wiz who wanted little to no money back and that wasn’t going to work for us.

See this coming from a mile away. Basically, Beal wants to play with KD and Book over Jimmy/Bam. SIMPLE AS THAT.
Not gonna fault him. He does not want to be the GUY.

No that's not why. Players choose easy path. KD only wanted Suns cuz of Booker. Heat were wasting their time in that negotiations. Same here Beal wanted Suns cuz he saw KD, Booker, Ayton as a guaranteed chip. KD& Booker > Bam & Butler in most players eyes. I don't know what the FO is supposed to do there.
