Mike Conley is a better player as I told you! You will see!
OK, now I'm having some reservations about the deal.
I know, now I'm extremely nervous about this deal to say the least.

TJ Ford looked great in college.
Figures. It takes MBBOT to bring you to your senses.europa wrote:MilBucksBackOnTop06 wrote:IT SHOULD HAPPEN!

I've expressed how much I dislike this deal in the other thread so I'll hit on another aspect. Roughly how much is it going to cost for Ersan to come over here next year? Bye bye whatever savings we get from this deal?
Just no foresight whatsoever lasts year at draft time, especially when you read reports that Hammond and company love Ersan.

No kidding. I absolutely HATE when people talk about college as a measuring stick. The NBA game is completely different, it's not even close.
If you could clearly judge a player from college, Bogut would be UNSTOPPABLE.
I hate this deal and if we do this I don't know what to think of Hammond
Well it is somewhat of a measuring stick. What else are the scouts supposed to look at? If you dominate at the college level you must be pretty good. It just gets tricky when a guy plays only one year with the top big guy in the country.jeremyd236 wrote:aboveAverage wrote:So what if Conley played well in college? Well, of course.paulpressey25 wrote:Whoa......
Amazing.
Well, if you need some help getting excited about this, check Conley's April stats last year. He was a really efficient PG.
I also give Hammond a ton of credit for realizing it was a bad move with Alexander. I'll give him a mulligan there.

It saves Memphis money so I could see them being interested
Conley/Darko
for
Sessions/JA/DJ/Elson
jeremyd236 wrote:If Hammond makes this trade, it's basically saying "I made a mistake" with drafting Alexander.
Yeah what he says. Mo does make LeBron better.MilBucksBackOnTop06 wrote:For all you Mo Williams haters and Sessions fanatics It is no accident Mo Williams is on the best team in the NBA is it???

I know where you are going on having more players involved but it seems like that won't happen. I think the Memphis poster sent us in the right direction. This will probably be the Lakers 2010 pick they got as part of the Gasol trade.
