I'm not a rigorous workout guy, but lift 2-3 times per week in addition to basketball. Was trying to maintain body fat and gain maybe 5 pounds over a prolonged period. Not looking to get freakishly big (not that I could anyway).
I usually eat 3-4 eggs/toast/yogurt for breakfast and eat three decently healthy meals per day (sandwiches, etc for lunch, pasta based dinners). So how should I incorporate the whey protein into my diet? How much should I take? Only on workout days or every day?
If you're concerned about it, just start small and have a serving right after your workout. You shouldn't worry, though. It's not like you'll get huge overnight. When you get to where you want to be, go maintenance.
You still doing the 'size surge'? I started Monday.
