Have to give Bill Simmons credit for publicly putting LeBron in a top ten players list (closer to 10) a couple weeks back. He took a lot of grief for that

I gotta see Khris and Giannis against that heat defense again before I’m super confident, that was giving me 2019 raptor/2020 heat flashbacks.

They don't have enough. Jimmy's still looking for a second star and Bam is not that.
Milbucks96 wrote:I agree that the bucks would be favored and is the better team, I’m just saying it’s not only injuries and nothing else between them and repeating like the comment I was replying to said.
The thing about that game that has me watching the heat isn’t the fact that the bucks lost by 40 missing half the team, it’s the fact that they have Giannis completely figured out at this point and have the ability to put strong defenders on Khris and take him out the game too.
That’s how they lost to the heat and raptors the last couple years. It’s going to come down to if our role players can generate enough offense and hit enough shots to cover for Giannis and Khris, it worked last year, not the two series before that.
I like the bucks chance against any team but I don’t think they’re a juggernaut just yet, especially in a playoff setting.

As a non Australian I have to ask. Is it the cursed aspect or the shite owner that's universally loathed by their fan base?stellation wrote:Jez2983 wrote:Me and the kids were watching the Lakers and they asked me why I was going for Phoenix.

With just a dash of Geelong's recruiting with the average age of their stars.

These cross sports comps are fun.
NFL/NBA
Suns are the Vikings, both have been around for 50 years and overall in their franchise history they've actually won at a decent clip but have never won it all and have had some real heartbreaking **** happen to some of their good teams.
Bengals/Clippers, horrible forever but had a little run recently of not horrible.
Wolves/Loins - I think they have about 5 total playoff appearances combined for the whole franchises history
Patriots/Spurs, long run of success and now starting a rebuild
