James Earl Jones was in more stuff I enjoyed, that had no connections, than anyone else ever: Star Wars, Coming to America, Sandlot, Field of Dreams… at a certain point you just realize he made anything he was in feel epic.

One of the funniest things I read - "“I did that once [speaking as Darth Vader] when I was traveling cross-country. I used Darth as my handle on the CB radio. The truck drivers would really freak out — for them, it was Darth Vader they were hearing. I had to stop doing that,” Jones told the Times magazine."
RIP.
RIP.

This one really hit me hard. He was the greatest movie villain of all-time. He was my James Greer (sorry Wendell and Morgan). He was some of the greatest dads and authority figures in the history of cinema. Just pure class and all the outpouring of love and tributes he's receiving warms my heart.

Really enjoyed Rebel Ridge
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

English Teacher is pretty damn funny
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Rebel Ridge was a solid movie. Lots of twists, credible acting, and it's intense as hell at points.
It's always a pleasant surprise to have James Cromwell make an appearance, too. One of my favorite actors. Even in a fairly minor role, I always feel like he adds something to the movies/shows he's casted in.

I forgot The Old Man is back. I'll have to rewatch most of season 1 first, it was more than 2 years ago.
Great cast, Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow and Amy Brenneman.

I love that Hacks won. I love Jean Smart in it (even though almost none of the scenes where she's actually performing work for me), but I wish Einbinder would get more credit as she's even better. Just the fact that they submitted her in the Supporting category is insulting.
