Felt like a throwaway scene unless they're having him play a major role next season. Ending with him getting arrested was an interesting choice considering I thought that would be how the whole series ends.
Unless we're getting a whole season of Barry in prison, I'm curious to see how they're gonna further the story and/or somehow finagle his way out of the charges. Sally, Gene, and Hank's story arcs all seemed to tie up nicely so I'm wondering if an extra season is even worth it?
Spoiler:
I felt like Sally beating the dirtbike guy to death with a baseball bat was pretty climactic. Speaking of that scene, the dude trying to figure out what was in his eye when it was the blade of a knife coming in from the back is going to make me squirmy for a very long time.
