Spoiler:
Didn't really see the point of bringing his old army-buddy-now-FBI-agent back only to have him ultimately just kinda.....let him off the hook? Felt like a throwaway scene unless they're having him play a major role next season. Ending with him getting arrested was an interesting choice considering I thought that would be how the whole series ends.

Unless we're getting a whole season of Barry in prison, I'm curious to see how they're gonna further the story and/or somehow finagle his way out of the charges. Sally, Gene, and Hank's story arcs all seemed to tie up nicely so I'm wondering if an extra season is even worth it?

Spoiler:
I felt like Sally beating the dirtbike guy to death with a baseball bat was pretty climactic. Speaking of that scene, the dude trying to figure out what was in his eye when it was the blade of a knife coming in from the back is going to make me squirmy for a very long time.

I watched it as well. It was awful on so many levels. Half ass writing, lead was just a terrible actress.

I said to myself, 'this is so so bad, why am I still watching it'...and the best answer I could come up with, I was just over half way done with it, so might as well play it out.

Spoiler:
agreed, this would have been an appropriate series ending. Either a season of Barry in jail or he gets off on some technicality. I'm not thrilled about either possibility. Or he breaks out somehow I guess. Maybe he and Fuchs will be cellmates. Or now that Sally has "broken bad" she becomes a hitman (woman). Hopefully the writers are more creative than I am
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Spoiler:
I feel like Barry's building toward some ultimate self-acknowledgment/realization. He still doesn't really know who he is and figuring it out is how the series ends. Like Mad Men, basically.

My first knee-jerk thought on season 4 is Barry's memoir gets produced as a movie.

Everything Everywhere All at Once was wonderful. Visually stunning, great editing, and Michelle Yeoh was fantastic. I did not expect to be moved like I was in third act.

I know Rotten Tomatoes isn't the end-all be-all, but don't you guys look at it before watching stuff? If something's below 50% it's usually pretty bad:

I really enjoyed Dark. Especially once I printed out a family tree to help understand what the hell was going on. Will definitely give this a watch.

I kept waiting for Thor to get involved. He had like 2 lines total. Once I realized that he was not doing anything in the movie, I kind of thought it might be a Sharknado/Snakes on a Plane type joke. Nope. It continued to take itself fairly seriously till the end.

I wanna root for someone on that show but it's hard. Barry obviously is a likeable guy but dude stop killing people that know your secrets.

Super predictable, but I enjoyed it. A feel good story that involves basketball? Just what I wanted to watch tonight.

I liked it too. Perfectly cheesy in a nice, enjoyable way. I think it's the first Sandler movie I've liked this century.

I had to look.... and I think it's only Mr. Deeds that came out this century that I've watched more than once.

Rough analysis! Punch Drunk Love, I remember liking Spanglish, Funny People was good, Uncut Gems was great. But yeah, pretty barren.

Outside of his only true masterpieces in Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore, I don't think Sandler's made a great comedy in the past 25 years. I mean, Waterboy was solid, but that's about it.

I didn’t mind Grown Ups or Just Go With It but by and large he’s shouting 20% or so lately.

But Big Daddy is one of my favorite movies all time.

My family were big fans of Anger Management with Sandler and Jack Nicholson

Big Daddy is my favorite movie of his, that was 1999.

Wedding Singer is easily my favorite of his.
