I'm not saying ALL photos are bad. I take a few usually of the whole stadium/arena or while the band is taking a bow or whatever. But look at the Tiger Woods photo above - arguably the best golfer of the last 40 years is hitting six feet from you and you are watching it through a tiny little screen and more than likely taking a really crappy photo of it. Watch/experience the actual thing happen while it's happening and then appreciate it from start to finish.

Harrumph!

I will do the same. Just capture a minute or two for a sweet memory and then just enjoy and live in the moment.

The only exception is if I take my daughter to a concert and it's a band I'm not really into, I tell her to keep her phone down, enjoy the moment, and I will record everything. I won't record all the songs, but she tells me which songs she loves and I end up recording probably half the concert. Damn my arms get tired, but it keeps me busy, and it makes me feel better than these guys:

Yes I've taken her to One direction, and many many others.

From what I have heard, they will be back again this season. Not sure if they will still be called the clutch crew or not. I might be yelling at the clouds here, but I’m just tired of Squad Six. It was alright when the team was garbage and attendance was so low, but there is no reason to keep them going, especially with a new lower capacity arena. Plenty of people would buy those seats.

Any word on the dismantling of the BC? I will be really disappointed if I can't buy some stadium seats

You would think they would sell as much as they could, especially since they can't implode it and it's going to take a year to team down and clear away. But there's been no talk about it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

First thoughts of the new arena (here for the Femmes/Killers)

Lobby is very cool. Feels a bit cramped compared to the BC. The escalators going up and down seem a bit dangerous. I can see a drunk person going over.

We got seats in the upper level. Not my first choice but the presale was a nightmare. Not much of a noticeable difference in leg room (to be fair I got some gumby legs) but the cup holders are cool. Miffed that they don't have any screens or the scoreboard active so can't see much of anything. Similar to the escalators, the glass in the first row is barely there and I can see some safety issues.
Overall I'm not sure I'd want to get Bucks tickets in the upper. Doesn't seem as intimate as the BC was or as close to the action (were in the third row).

Maybe I don't have an ear for it but the acoustics/sound don't sound much different than the BC.

Overall, I'm stoked the Bucks have a new home and are here to stay. In all honesty, the big changes are mostly decorative. The ambiance/atmosphere doesn't seem much different.

I’m not sure how it works exactly, but there was an article a few months ago (I believe) that talked about the Bucks auctioning much of the interior this summer. It was buried in a press release or something. I know it discussed the guitars, posters, and shirts, but I can’t recall if anything was said in regards to the seats themselves.

Edit- Here was the auction. There was some cool **** in here, I wish they had promoted it. I would’ve picked some stuff up. I don’t see any seats though, so looks like we still have a shot at those.

I think if you are looking for a religious experience you will be sorely disappointed. At the end of the day it's an arena.

Pretty much my point. I wasn't blown away essentially but was still very cool to be there. Will have to see a basketball game there

I wasn't at the show, but curious how you can conclude the ambience/atmosphere isn't any different. The Bradley Center was a cinder block box with small congregating areas and no way to see the action unless in a seat. The new arena comes off like a space ship or an art museum with too much white and sweep ceilings. They couldn't have more different feels from my viewpoint.

The seats are noticeably bigger in leg room, without question. I made the same comments about the level of glass and railings in the upper levels. I have to think those get adjusted at some point. It seemed like views were prioritized over safety on a few of them.

Really couldn't disagree with Cronus more and I was at the show. Lobby smaller than the BC? lol Are we talking about the same buildings? They didn't have the scoreboard down because the stage was on the end, therefore the far-end upper deck wouldn't be able to view the stage. Upper deck is so much better than the BC- however I will say its just as steep- Nice amenities and the Panorama Club is awesome, they did a really great job with that. Tons of people gathered there before the concert to hang out and take pictures both inside and out on the deck. Acoustics/Sound- much better than the BC. Atmosphere- everyone seemed really comfortable hanging out before the concert, all the sitting areas and bars were packed. I don't think Cronus was at the same concert.

I'm calling it now: someone in the atrium is going to get beaned in the head with a smartphone dropped from the Panorama Club. And it isn't going to be pretty.

The Bradley Center was terrible in this regard. Over the years there were certain games or events where I had to look through bad glass or rails. So I'm ok with some adventure here.

I had some friends at the show last night, some sat in uppers, some lowers, all thought the experience was way better than the BC. Uppers had more leg room, acoustics much better. Concourse is much roomier IMO, I haven't been to an event yet but it was packed for the open house. Of course there will be a few bottlenecks, especially in the beginning when people don't know where the heck they're going.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Did people really think the uppers at the BC didn't have leg room? Lowers I get but uppers were fine.
